We won guys. We did it. As a collective, we pulled together and called bullshit and Microft retracted their troops and surrendered.

The new console war will now be about games and solely games. That's great! I feel this U-turn stops Sony from getting complacent and smug also. Compettiton always brings out the best in people and when it comes down to games consoles, we should be talking about the games on offer and nothing else. Now we can do that.

I'm still rooting for Sony, because it's cheaper and in the long run their exclusives will probably appeal to my tastes more.

Guys sorry about my last blog it was very 'hap-dash' and honestly very poorly written, I'm better than that. I want to talk more in depth about The Witcher 2. I've Fallen in love with that game over the past month or so. I've also been playing State of Decay, quite possibly the greatest concept in a video game ever but falls short towards the end, once the novelty wears off, the technical issues and repetitive and random nature of some missions wears thin. I'll cover them more in depth hopefully over the weekend, once I've got more free time.

For now pat yourselves on the back guys. Internet done good. Although we now have two very identical consoles coming to us this winter.

The phrase 'Winter is coming' has never been more apt... for a gaming site anyway.

I'm still not going to get one right away, not until there are enough good games I want to play on it to warrant a purchase. That's the deciding factor on when I buy a new console.

I'm with you, I'm still leaning PS4, but now it will be about games ... and not buying anything until January or so, depending on what issues these things have out of the gate, and so I can get in on those post-Christmas sales.

I feel exactly the same. While I can't say I trust microsoft I'm glad they saw reason and stopped digging their own grave. It's better if they exist than not exist at all. Would Batman be as strong without The Joker? Probably not! (I'm using that analogy a lot. Need to get better material!)

Although im a 360 fan and am glad to see Microsoft turn a 180 im still going with a ps4 but i may get an Xbone later but for now im concentrated on a ps3 then i will worry about next gen.

I think I'm going to be going with a PS4 in the end...

MS were jsut a complete bunch of assholes in the beginning of this fiasco, and it'll take more than just a policy-reversal to change my mind..

All about the playstation4 next gen! seems like pixlbit will all be on the same console! before that though Dark Souls 2!
