ha, all of these would be great! But my money is on Pac-Man.
Top 10 Namco Bandai Characters We May or May not See in the next Smash Bros

So the next Smash Bros. is being developed by Namco Bandai. And while we still have absolutely zero knowledge of who or what will be in the next Smash Bros. We can at least speculate and speculation is fun. So I compiled a list of 10 Namco Bandai characters we may or may not see (5 who have chances....5 who have zero). But we might not even get any at all so without further ado....I present you thy list!!!
1. Pac-Man -Chances- 75% at least.
Let's take into example Pac-Man. Pac-Man is a staple of Namco Bandai. There are several references to Pac-Man within many Namco Bandai games and there have even been Pac-Man games released on a Nintendo console! Pac-Man probably has the best chance of any considering he's an iconic figure in video games and he's a practical fan vote shoe in if they asked for it. Only problem is just because Namco Bandai is developing...doesn't mean they'll add something of their own. Which could be the only reason why Pac-Man doesn't eat his way into the game.
2. Klonoa -Chances- 50% at least.
Klonoa is a terrific character who deserves more attention. His games were consistently good and even had games on Nintendo systems. Klonoa was even remade for Nintendo Wii to sadly less than stellar sales. There were even talks to remake 2 or even a third game, but sadly that never came to be. Klonoa has certainly crossed into other genres such as racing, action rpg/tactical rpg in Namco X Capcom, and even beach volleyball. So Klonoa has a chance better than most...but he also has just as equal a chance to disappear
3. Lloyd Irving -Chances- 35% at least.
Lloyd Irving out of all the Tales series of games has the best chance of crossing over into Smash Bros. There's a pretty decent reason for this only because he's appeared in Soul Calibur Legends...a game where he appeared randomly in a Soul Calibur Wii game. Not to mention any Tales fighting gamse such as Tales of the Heroes or Tales of Versus. Plus there's bound to be at least a Tales character somewhere and Lloyd Irving is probably the best choice...unlike that whiny protagonist Emile from the Tales of Symphonia sequel.
4. Heihachi/Siegfried -Chances- 25% at least
I decided to mash these two together because the world of smash is always in need of bad guy staples and who better than Heihachi from Tekken and Siegfried who eventually becomes Nightmare in Soul Calibur? Of course we could always have Yoshimitsu from both series, but that just might confuse players. Either way we could very well get either, but chances are only one series gets the nod. If that happens with say Heihachi it may open the door for a female fighter like Nina to be in the game. On the other side with Siegfried could be Taki or Ivy. Both Tekken and Soul Calibur have crossed over to Nintendo consoles (Tekken only doing so more recently). It's a small chance we might see a Soul Calibur or Tekken character...I mean Heihachi was just in Playstation Battle Royale...maybe they'll whore him out for Smash.
5. Mr. Driller -Chances- 15% at least at least
Finally before we get into the least likely characterss with zero chance lets talk about a series that dates way back to the arcade in Mr. Driller who has roots in Dig Dug. Mr. Driller has had many forays on Nintendo handhelds and even a virtual console title. He's got the classic sickeningly cute look that fans of Pikachu and Kirby adore...and he uses a drill as a weapon. The problem with Mr. Driller is that he's more obscure than most of the others. I'm a fan of Mr. Driller. The problem is not many people would think of him the same way...But I mean we Got Mr. Game & Watch and the Ice Climbers...so bringing things back from obscurity can always boost back a characters interest.
6. Agumon/Any Digimon -Chances- 0%
You know Digimon right? Or at least maybe remember Digimon? Well since Nintendo is cuddly with GameFreak and Pokemon was in competition with Digimon (at least until Digimon ended. Something Pokemon refuses to do!!) You can bet there is no chance of any digimon appearing in Smash.
7. Oliver from Ni no Kuni -Chances- 0%
Ni no Kuni was originally released on the Nintendo DS...In Japan. PS3 owners got Ni no Kuni, but seeing Oliver in any way on Smash would be surprising. Especially considering Studio Ghibli probably holds the rights. So there's no chance.
8. Rick from Splatterhouse -Chances- 0%
Splatterhouse made its way to the Nintendo Virtual Console after 15 years or however long it took to bring it to the Wii system. Needless to say Nintendo's family friendly and having a Jason look-a-like chainsawing poor Pikachu in the face is a little much...on second thought...
9. Any hero from Time Crisis -Chances- 0%
Time Crisis has been a prevalent Playstation series through and through. Plus....Who the hell knows any of the heroes from Time Crisis? I mean seriously...I challenge you to do so! I got $20! Double dare me! On second thought...someone might take that bet... Either way...0%
10. Any Xeno Saga character -Chances- 0%
In a great twist of irony Namco Bandai uses Xeno Saga characters to compete along the lines of Monolith Softs newly Nintendo acquired Xeno series characters! Watch as KOS-MOS fights Shulk! Did you imagine that? Well keep on doing so....cuz the likelihood of this happening is a big whopping zero.
Anyways thats it for the list. Are there any characters I forgot? Let me know! Like the blog and leave a comment! I greatly appreciate any and all feedback!
