Well I had my doubts but you can't argue against video footage of actual gameplay. I have to say I'm excited and the new classes look inteseting. The best part is it will drop this fall. So what do ya'll think?

I've just never been interested in Borderlands ... sorry to be a downer with the first comment. lol To be fair, I haven't played it.
I like some FPS games and I love cel-shading, but I'm not huge on RPG elements and I hate desert settings. Then again, some screenshots KnightDriver posted of snowy tundras looked a lot better.
I just don't know.
I think a lot of folks over look it like "oh, another FPS" but its really unlike most shooters. The RPG lelements have more to do with how you build your charater but its not permanent, you can resets skill points. The enviroments in the first Borderlands were pretty static, desert, junk everywhere. BLD 2 really did a good job mixing it up. You have tundra, desert ,mounatainous highlands, and some even more enteresting stuff in the dlc campaigns. Seems like most people either love these games or hate them. Ihave never been a big FPS guy but I really like these games.
I never thought it was "just another FPS," I knew there was more to it than a Call of Duty for my tastes, but aside from cel-shading it just never really appealed to me. I haven't played it though, so I can't judge, it's just one of those games I don't really feel like I have to play.
Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm kind of the same way with the Uncharted games. I'm sure they are great but for some reason they just don't grab my attention.
Looks awesome, I love Borderlands. wish it was coming to PS4 though.
I Believe Borderlands 3 will be next gen for sure. This game just came out of nowhere.

I may have to re-download Borderlands 2 and give it its fair shakes...I really liked the first one, even after it corrupted my save files like 10x.
Yeah, Borderlands 1 was a bit glitchy. Never lost any saves, but I had it freeze several times, had a car levitate up off the ground after I got out and could not get back in. Glitchy as shit.lol
I'm glad it's not just more DLC. I'll be on this day-one for sure. Apparently there will be more footage of the game at the end of PAX this weekend. Can't wait to see more.
Yeah, the more I see the more excited I am. The new gameplay mechanics are going to be crazy.
I was really hopeing for a next gen Borderlands announcement but ths isnt too bad at all. Im thinking of buying Borderands 2 on the 360 even though I would prefer it on a PS3. I might wait for me to get another PS3.
I read interveiw with Randy Pitchford not long ago and he said Borderlands 3 will be a next gen game. But they want to keep folks interested in the series, so we get a cool spin-off. I'm going to be torn as hell seeing as this will likely come out around the same time as Destiny. No sleep for me.
The Pre-Sequel, that has to be one of the most silly names I have ever heard. I haven't spent enough time with the series though, so I don't know if it fits with the universe.
Yeah its kind of silly, but its really more of a spin-off than a prequel/sequel. From what I have heard so far it follows the narative of how Handsom Jack rises to power, with the aid of the 4 new characters. I like the alternate perspective idea and expanding the mythos through the eyes of the bad guys.
