I had to look up what 4-20 meant. I am so straight edge.
Ironicaly even though I do smoke I did not know the origin of 4-20 until today. Its been around for a long time.
I haven't smoked in some time, but it wouldn't matter. If you grew up the most straight edge person in my generation and around the same city area, you'd still know the reference, I could almost guarantee you.
My older brother and I actually had a debate/discussion about marijuana and the correlation between people with marijuana in their systems who got into driving accidents increasing with recent legalization of marijuana. Some problems included that the study inolved six states, only half of which had legalized the stuff, and that cannibinol could be found in one's system well after smoking cannabis and well after the effect had worn off, meaning the accidents could have been caused by someone who was drinking that day and had only smoked cannabis a week or so ealrier.
Could have. I still don't think the sticky icky necessarily makes anyone a better driver, as while it does calm down some road ragers, it also slows reaction time and awareness in most people.
Anyway, this is the perfect excuse to turn a chocolate bunny into a bong. I'm not gonna do it, but someone should.
As more states legalize, and they will, this is something they are going to have to figure out. Its not just DUI. Many buisnesses want a piss test before they hire. Once its legal that makes that officially an issue of discrimination. Workers comp is another one. They always fall back on this . And its what has aways been wrong with that formula. Just like you said, it shows up long after you have come down. Just because you drink on your down time does not mean you will drink on the job. Why is smoking any different?

LOL. I went straight edge once I became a CA (RA most places) then AHD so that I would not feel as bad about my inevitable hypocrisy, because the hypocrisy would at least be based in my past and not my present.
It still fucked with my head though, and I need to do something to make up for my hypocrisy in those years.
So in other words, I'm a straight edge old person from the sticks, lol.

You're an awesome park ranger with an awesome job that doesn't require drugs like these to make yourself or your life cooler. lol
