Smashing some heavy iron

Hey there Pixlbit, hope you're enjoying the weekend. Today's blog is an easy one because I'm prototyping the posts I'll need for that big announcement, since I may give you the details hopefully this week. Another reason why this is posted more earlier than usual. As for now, here's what I'm currently playing:

Iron Man 2 Game

Yes, Iron Man 2 and I know people hate this game, but here's the reason why I'm playing this. As some of you may be aware of, I got a PS3 in 2010. I was the only one from my bors with a PSN account, so whatever game they wanted to play on it, it would show up on my account, trophies and all. My little brother got Iron Man 2 and got trophies for it and eventually the platinum. The thing is that it synched to my account and added to my trophy count. It's one of the 2 platinums I don't count in my trophy number (more on the second in a bit). So eventually I got my little brother got an account on PSN a year later. But just reccently, I told him that I'll get him the platinum since he's done it once, therefore he doesn't need to do it twice. It took me around a week or 2 but I got it for him so now I can officially count the one on my account mine.

I can say that the game isn't too terribly bad but I can see why people hated it. Honestly I don't know what they could of done to improve it, but it definitely need more polish. There are some portions in the game that get's too hard if you raise up the difficulty to the hardest mode, and you only need that for a trophy. Out of all the Sega made movie games, this one is a pass, it's better than the first one and the Thor one, but not as good as the Captain America one.

Monster Jam: Path of Destruction

Monster Jam: Path of Destruction is a game my other brother got in 2011 and since I was the only one with an account, he got all those trophies and the platinum trophy on my account. He did get an account later that year though but it's another platinum I don't count towards mine. After finishing up with Iron Man 2 I told my other brother that I'll get him this platinum on his account, but it will take me a while though. But that's okay since I'm a fan of monster trucks and it's been a while since I've played a good monster truck game. It'll take a while because you have to rank up in order to get to new events, and there's these stunt challenges. Those are a bit difficult since you have to pull off a stunt in the fastest time possible, and it's hard since it's always a stunt you're not familiar with. I'm having fun with it so far so it isn't so bad.

SSB

I'm still playing Smash Bros. for Wii U. I'm trying to complete the challenges panel and they are getting harder. So far I'm doing the one where you have to use every character in Classic with the difficulty set a 7. My brother's are helping me out too with characters that they like so it's mostly a team effort. Other than that we do play against each other so it's always a blast. Might take a while to complete it, we're almost there but the remaining ones are hard. That and I refuse to use any of the golden hammers so I'm going to tough it out.

I'm trying to finish up Prof. Layton vs. Phoenix Wright and LEGO Batman 3. I'm also finishing up reviewing an iPad game called Adventure Time: Game Wizard. And this Friday I'm hoping to start playing Kirby and the Rainbow Curse!

Was playing The Last of Us and Apotheon yesterday and currently downloading Guilty Gear Xrd Sign and Rayman Legends on my PS4.

Iron Man 2 looked like a decent game in screenshots, but no one who played it seemed to like it all that much. Too bad. Monster Jam is a bit random. I'm always surprised when games like that and hunting games and whatnot are still going. I remember when my friend Adam bought a hunting game for his 360 when they were ne and he raved about it. lol

I really want to complete all the challenges in Melee one day, but the two I can't get (Jigglypuffs challenge and I think the last one ... may be a third I haven't aced yet) are so damn hard.

I don't know anything about the Iron Man games. I guess they're suppose to be bad?

I'm playing Persona Q at the moment. Tomorrow I plan to play Lost Odyssey. I got Majora's Mask, Friday. I don't know when I'll start it.

I head you on the Iron Man 2 game being alright, but not quite good. I played The Green Lantern: Rise Of The Manhunters game when it came out in 2011, and it sucked, though I did indeed play it to the end. Too much repetition, too many same-skinned enemies, and virtutally no tie-in with the movie. I had no desire at all to mop up any of the easier trophies I'd missed.

I'm currently playing: Evolve, The Last Of Us Remastered, Minecraft, Alien:Isolation, and I think I may start Pier Solar soon.

i played one of the Iron Man games as a demo. Maybe it was 2. The flying controls were bad. How can you do flying wrong in an Iron Man game? That's first priority.
