Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon released earlier this year at 40 dollar price point for both the 360 and the Ps3....I picked it up on release day. It was worth every penny of that 40 bucks...that was the right idea for that game there.

And I'd have gladly paid 40 bucks for Shadows Of The Damned on release day. I don't think it deserves its current bargain bin price in various financial outlets...though I'm not going to complain about keeping a bit of extra coin in my pocket!

boy Phil Kollar wasn't joking when he wrote about people being shocked at the GI cover for dec/jan...I certainly was. I don't think I've EVER played a South Park game other than the abysmal shooter that made its way onto N64 (I think it was N64...??). This game's gonna be interesting to say the least. There are so many fans of the show that the video game has to be top-notch, or it'll be universally reviled.

8 hours of main story eh? Makes me less scared to pick this one up as a rental. I've never played a Saints game before - do you recommend playing Saint's Row 2 before jumping into this game?

Right on. Thankfully I've not experienced anything yet that could be considered game-crippling...my save file is nearly 6 megs, and I've yet to see the issues that arise from that as well.

truth be told i never played a lot of sonic....i was more taken with Fatal Fury during the brief time i owned a genesis. out of the sonic games i HAVE played though, I enjoyed sonic spinball the most.
