I am about 45 hours in and I have to say this is one of my favorite Tales games. I wish Squeenix would take note. It is possible to move a series forward without forgetting about what made the series great.
I have received a few tickets for a rolling stop myself. They are pretty bs tickets. I would have to say you can't go wrong with a Tales game.
Good question. It was probably Super Mario Brothers or Zelda. Not sure which I beat first.
I have never heard of this game. It looks like something I would love. I'm going to have to find it. Man, I think you have played every jrpg on the planet.
Man, this game sounds awful. I am glad I haven't picked it up, as it sounds like a complete waste of money. I am not a graphics whore. I really don't care. I just like fun and entertaining games. If they look great, that is a bonus. With that said, I really have a hard time with ps1 graphics these days. They hurt my eyes. They just haven't aged as well as nes, SNES and pretty much everything else.

I really like both games. If it is one or the other, I would go with DQVIII. I thought it started out a bit slow, but after you get into it, it is a great games. Good graphics, characters, story and it is a traditional turn based game. I loved Rogue Galaxy also. Graphics are similar. Rogue Galaxy had a more actiony battle system, more Tales like. I quit playing it my first time. I just kept getting my ass handed too me early on. But, I did give it another chance. I didn't have that problem after the first couple areas. The story was OK, but I liked the setting.
I don't understand what is wrong with some people. Shooting fireworks at cops and firefighters is pretty stupid. As for Ouya, I got one so I can easily play emulated games on my TV. it works pretty well for that. It takes up so little space, which is nice. Can't wait to see what indies do with it.
