Monday Night PlayBit: Sonic 3 & Knuckles!

To celebrate Sonic's recent 20th Birthday, I'll be playing Sonic 3 & Knuckles for tonight's Playbit. Edit: The PlayBit is over. Due to a broadcasting error, the video won't be available in our LiveStream channel.

Who will I play as? Sonic alone? Knuckles? Sonic and Tails? Tails? You tell me! First person in the chat gets to decide.

This will be a full run of the game, from start to finish, with one caveat: I'll be using a fully-cleared file, with all hyper emeralds collected, regardless of which character I play as.

Man, sucks that we lost the recording of this one. Felt like we had some good conversations that would've been interesting to listen to. Oh well, better luck next time I suppose.

Just a heads up, given that this upcoming Monday is the Fourth of July, there won't be a new Monday Night Playbit. I might record something of my own and post it up some time to make up for it, but don't hold me to it.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Review

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen an entry in the Metroid Prime series - 18 years, in fact. It was 8 years ago that Metroid Prime 4 was originally announced and its development was more than a little turbulent. Initially developed by Bandai Namco, it was later scrapped completely and development was shifted back to Retro Studios to start the project over. In the end, Retro has delivered a solid new entry in the series, but one that doesn’t totally capture what originally made the series so compelling.
