YouTube and TV providers missing the update's launch.
The big Xbox 360 fall dashboard update is finally coming out tomorrow and I personally blame my OCD tendencies for being so excited for it. Announced this year at E3 2011, the update includes Bing searching, YouTube, Live TV and EPIX, among other features. A UFC app was also announced but we know that it's been delayed to December 20 instead of its original date of December 1. Now it seems that the dashboard update will be missing a lot of the announced apps, at least at launch.
Nintendo won't be on time, but you still won't have to wait long.
Nintendo's November 3DS update should be right around the corner since there's only one day left in this month as of this writing, but there's been no announcement as to when exactly it will be released. Well, it should come as no surprise that Nintendo is going to miss the November window of release; however, the release date has now been locked down.

The PixlBit staff loves HD and wants to see some of their favorite franchises get the treatment.
HD collections seem to be all the rage these days. The craze began with Sony’s release of the God of War collection – collecting the first two games in the series – on the PS3. This was promptly followed up by the HD Sly Cooper Collection, also on the PS3.
It's official! Our favorite Renaissance era assassin will be playable in SoulCalibur V.
The SoulCalibur series is no stranger to the concept of the cross game cameo. Previous installments have seen Spawn, Yoda, Darth Vader, Heihachi and even Nintendo’s pointy eared Hylian, Link show up as bonus characters, so it only makes sense that the upcoming fifth game in the series will uphold this fine tradition.

Snuggle up with SSX next Valentine’s Day.
A new SSX trailer was uploaded to YouTube yesterday and while that may not be news worthy by itself there is a small bit at the end that indicates the potential North American release date.
The system will be released in Japan later this year.
Sony announced tonight at their TGS 2011 conference that the PlayStation Vita will see release this year in Japan. Come December 17, Japanese players will be getting their hands on the new Sony handheld. According to Famitsu, the system will launch with Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Armies From Hell from Square Enix, but at the time of press, no other launch titles are currently known.
The game will land on November 20th.
In a press release, Nintendo confirmed a November 20th North American release date for the latest update to the Zelda franchise. While doing so, Nintendo also made certain to note Skyward Sword would lay the foundation for the story told in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The press release also suggested those interested in Skyward Sword can visit this link for more information, but at the time of press, the link supplied redirects to an E3 information page for the game.
