Super Black Bass 3D Preview

You bet your bass there are no puns in this article.

Whether you’re a true fisherman, a lapsed amateur, or someone who has never even put worm to hook in your life, fishing games can be a lot of fun – when done well.  After the Wii’s motion controls led to an onslaught of questionable fishing games available at your local Academy Sports & Outdoors, the whole genre got pushed even farther off of the typical gamer’s radar.  This April, one of the great fishing series tries to make a return when Super Black Bass 3D is released on the 3DS, but it’s uncertain if it will capture the classic majesty of the Black Bass series heritage.

Trine 2: Director's Cut Review

Improved controls and extra content make this the must-have version of last year’s puzzle-platformer.

Like many games featured in the Wii U launch, Trine 2 saw release on other platforms at a much earlier point. However, with its release on Nintendo’s new hardware it seems to have found its true home. Through combined use of the Wii U GamePad’s touch screen and its traditional controls, players have the most effective means of interacting with this beautiful game yet. Nights into Dreams Review

This gorgeous remake deserves better controls.

Nights Into Dreams has unquestionably been treated with love in its transformation into HD. The upgraded support is accompanied by a few other relevant tweaks.

In addition to introducing Cross Buy, Sony dropped some other relevant Vita information. Version 1.80 of the system firmware will bring with it support for PSone Classics. Wii U GamePad Sports Short Battery Life

Just when you get into your groove, the controller powers down. Update: Pitchforks down, everyone: it charges while you play.

After catching a glimpse of the Wii U's potential at Nintendo’s conference, some of the excitement is tempered by the raw facts on battery life. According to official figures from Nintendo, the Wii U Gamepad will only last for 3-5 hours on battery charge. Since most of its functionality shown at E3 involves players moving it in multiple directions and around the room, it may be tough to charge and play with the controller at the same time.
