Let’s take a road trip with stops along the way to read game reviews I’ve recently written over at GamerDad.com!  Please click on the links and read as many as you can, and maybe post a ‘like’ or comment or two.  I’d appreciate it.  OK let’s roll out!

Pac-Man and Tetris Gamer Gummies

As probably one of the biggest Pac-Man fans on the Internet, I had to tell you all about these “Gamer Gummies” I found out about featuring Pac-Man and also Tetris.  So let’s take a look at them!

Street Fighter 6 amiibo

or the debut of Street Fighter 6 on the Switch 2, they’ve released some amiibo figures of characters I’ve never heard of.  But I got the amiibo figures of them anyway because I’m a freak.  So let’s take a look at them.

Starlight Legacy (PS4)

Back when I was a teen during the 16-bit days, I loved RPGs.  And with games like Final Fantasy 6 and Chrono Trigger, who could blame me?  I just couldn’t get enough of them.  Nowadays I’m not really into modern RPGs, but I’ll take notice anytime someone makes a throwback 16-bit style RPG.  Such is the case with Starlight Legacy.  As the story goes, many years ago a kingdom was at war and the sky people were forbidden to use magic after it was over.  But many years have passed and the sky people think that they should use magic again, so a separatist group sets out to attack the life giving Eternal Tree.  But are the separatists taking things too far, and is the king really doing the right thing by continuing to uphold that anti magic law?  That’s what you and two other warriors will find out in this 16-bit styled RPG adventure.

Hello Kitty Friends Match (Mobile)

Hello Kitty and all her friends have been sucked into a magical portal and end up in an abandoned fairy village.  Help Hello Kitty use a new magic wand to rebuild the village.  She needs star power to use the wand, so solve match three puzzles to earn stars to build the village.

Cornhole Hero (Mobile)

I didn’t even know what “Cornhole” was until a few months ago.  Sounds like an insult or what Beavis says when he has too much sugar or caffeine.  But no, it’s a game where you throw bean bags on a board and try to get them to land on it or in a hole.  I think we played something like this at elementary school fairs and such.  But what if Cornhole was popular enough in the 70s and 80s to warrant making an Atari 2600 game out of it?  Because you know they would.  Well now you can see what that’s like with Cornhole Hero, a free-to-play mobile game (reviewed on iPad here).

Bunny Cubed (PS4)

Help a cube shaped bunny push blocks into the right spaces on a carrot patch in Bunny Cubed.  It’s another example of the “Sokoban” genre of block pushing puzzle games

Knight’s Night!  (PS4)

A knight must stop an evil wizard from doing something…evil in Knight’s Night!  It’s a retro inspired 2-D precision platformer with black and white graphics that remind me of the games I used to play on my old Apple ][+ computer.

Super Engine GT Turbo SPEC (PS4)

Race cars and try to place at least third in several road tracks in this top down viewed racer.

And that’s all for now!  Thanks for reading and posting ‘likes’ and comments on my reviews.  I do appreciate it!  Later!  --Cary
