It's not necessary but it'd be convenient...

I read a news story over at Shacknews a month ago about how Ubisoft once again announced plans to finally put an online multiplayer mode for the Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World video game, despite being 2 years too late. For some reason, it's entered my mind again and wanted to know if there was anyone here who would like such a thing.

I loved the game. I felt it complimented the movie and the graphic novels. It had plenty of charm, the controls were great and it paid homage to River City Ransom so well. And yet, I could only play it by myself and an online option would help. I think that game would shine with more than one person.

This blog is a little short and sweet but again, I wanted to know what others felt about the possibility of this option ever happening.

I would like it I play on XBLA and love the game it reminds me of River City Ransom but an online game would be cool in my opinion.

That would be cool. I got the game free on PlayStation plus several months ago but haven't gotten around to playing it yet. An online option would be nice Smile

I played the demo and I didn't enjoy it too much. Never been into beat-em-ups too much.

I certainly wouldn't mind however if developers returned to their games after a few years more often. DLC these days is so close to the release of the game that it's hard to get excited about it like in the past. The whole thing that made DLC enticing originally was the idea of returning to a game after finishing it long ago.

Yeah, enjoyment of the game really helps if you're into the source material.
