Another quick BaD today, this one over Saint's Row. Today I bought on a whim Saint's Row IV Re-Elected/Gat out of Hell for my PS4. I've had an iffy history with the games. They weren't terrible to me but I never could get into them. They got super gratting after awhile and just lost their touch to me. I've played about an hour of 4 so far and while parts of it I enjoy...that feeling is coming back again. So I wanted to ask everyone here what do you all think about Saint's Row games? Good? Bad? Way too many memes?

Sorry for not getting to everyone's blog and my responses. I will try to catch up come tomarrow.

I freaking love Saints Row the Third and 4. I feel like they are just clever enough, just witty enough, and just crass enough that they don't overstay their welcome. I also like that they clock in at around 20 hours to to everything, which is a fraction of the slog that GTA IV and V were for me.

I did everything in the 4th game for our review, and I'm playing the PS4 version now and am thinking about going for the platinum trophy.

I hear you can create characters in the Saints Row games.  That interests me, but my brother Jeff says I wouldn't like those games so I'll take his word for it.  He knows me pretty well.

I have The Third and played the opening sequence with the bighead masks. I thought it was pretty funny actually and may have played more but my PC and controller decided to make it difficult for me so I stopped.

I want to play 3 and 4 because they are described as open world playgrounds of craziness. Reminds me of Crackdown, so I want to play them.
