In the time I been away from here, I been just playing video games, watching youtube channels, Netflix, and Hulu Plus. Of course I also been spending time with my little girls. Things aren't much different though. I am still not divorced but that will come soon. I wanted to wait until after my wife moves out but its been so many months now but its been so long...

Canon EOS 60D

Well since I am going to be single and won't have the same responsibilities, I am going to embrace my gaming more. Tax season is here and two things I am buying with my return. Well actually a lot of things, I have a few of them nailed down. My return should be here in a week but went ahead and charged a couple of purchases to my credit card. I bought a Canon DSLR camera to broadcast myself playing games and make a youtube channel to talk about gaming. The whole thing of me wanting to make my own website won't pan out. This is more simple, faster, and more fun to do. I hope a lot of you will subscribe to my channel. I will keep you all informed.

The second purchase? It is a DigitalStorm desktop for pc gaming. Yeah, I am going to jump a little more into pc gaming. I have before but only through laptops but will take a more serious leap but with that said, console gaming will be my primary choice. I didn't get a expensive one because I want money to go elsewhere as well. This desktop got many good reviews. While it isn't top of the line, it will get me going at least.

Besides the obvious in more games, I want to get a coffee table for my gaming room and will puchase art on candb.com. It can get really expensive if you frame them. I like the Mirror's Edge and The Last of Us art the most. I love both games luckily. I don't want to get from something from games I love. I have more than a few thousand to work with, the rest will go toward games and taking a trip to Orlando with my girls to somewhere like Legoland. That is all from me for now. I finished up Dragon Age: Inquisition with just a few trophies left. I played the hell out of that game. I am now playing Evolve and have other games to get around to. More on that in my next sooner blog. Take care everyone!

divorce sounds tough man.

I'm planning on buying an ottoman instead of a coffee table so I can put my feet up and work on my laptop on it.  I considered getting a coffee table though.  I'm also planning on getting a desktop PC later this year, maybe instead of a console, I'm not sure.

glad to hear from you!

I want a coffee table so I can put stuff on it. I am going to get a wireless keyboard to place it on and use my tv as my monitor.

I really want a DSLR camera too.

They are the most recommended for video blogs. I looked and read countless reviews on cameras and camcorders. I wanted to get the newer Canon camera that is a step up but it is over 400 dollars more. This camera though got very high marks for its video and obviously its picture quality.

It will be good to see you around more.

DA:I is a good game.  I really liked the end.  I would like to play through it again, but I'm holding out until I get a better version of the game.  Hopefully, I'll get a PS4 this year and I can play DA and The Witcher 3 on it.

Damn. That is like you. Playing a game all over again. I already put well over 100 hours into the game. I did nearly everything possible that I know about except beating all the dragons. I have 4 to go. I wonder actually if they are easier on normal. I beat the game on hard and been trying to beat the dragons on hard too. Hmm...

If I like a game, it's hard for me not to play through it again.  I hadn't played Mass Effect in months.  I'm finally playing Lost Odyssey.  I remember you wrote about it on 1Up and how much you liked it.  I made a deal with Rangergirl that I wouldn't play Mass Effect again untill I play through Lost Odyssey.  It motivates me to play some of the games I've been holding on to for years. Laughing

I only did it a few times but with RPGs. That is crazy considering how time consuming they are but more power to you :) I did with The Last of Us and Dead Space. You definitely need to get into Lost Odyssey!

All you need now is a hot tub time machine.

That is all I need. Go back, make a few bets, and come back as a king.

Good to hear from you. Sorry to hear about the divorce. Never been through that and hope I never have to.

I have The Last of Us and Mirror's Edge and have played neither for more than 5 minutes. I wish I could settle on a game that's not an RPG and finish it. I don't mean replaying Silent Hill 1, 2 and 3 again either.

5 minutes? LOL. Come on! I beat The Last of Us 4 times. I beat it on Grounded. That was a bitch to do and beat Mirror's Edge without using a gun. A couple of nice braggable trophies :)

Really though The Last of Us is so good. Sorry to hear you can get through them. You play through Dragon Age: Inquisition and or South Park: Stick of Truth? Those games are awesome.

I want to play Stick of Truth and I have it on Steam but haven't got around to it. DAI is a possibility.

On the other two games, it's not because I didn't want to play them, I started them to make sure they worked then stopped. I should give them a try.

DAI is my favorite game of last year hands down. I first thought it was Stick of Truth but not after playing DAI. I played Shadow of Mordor that also got a lot of nominations for game of the year and won it by many, I think its good too but slightly less so. DAI is just amazing.

I loved Dragon Age Inquisition. Didn't like the others as much as my favorite Bioware games, but damn did I get sucked into Inquisition. Now I'm just trying to figure out what to play between now and Bloodborne after finally beating Dark Souls.

Hope things get better for you soon man.

Helldivers is awesome. Its what I playing right now and Hotline Miami 2 is right around the corner! :) As for big games, I tapped into Shadow of Mordor finally. I love the combat system. Its incredible. I didn't think after those Batman games, I thought nobody could do it on par with Rocksteady.
