I think that after they released Seiken Densetsu 4 as Dawn of Mana on the PS2, they gave up on the IP. But what do they expect when they turn the series into a Kingdom Hearts clone in the style of Crystal Chronicles? Suffice to say the game wasn't a blockbuster. At the very least, you can play Secret of Mana(SD2) on the iPhone.
Yeah, if I didn't have systems already, a multi-console would be the way that I would go. Amazon has some good user reviews to check out.
That's fine. I don't have a problem with that style because other people enjoy it. As for me, I started RPG's with FF IV & VI on the SNES back when they were called II and III. It would be nice if they would return to menu based fights. These days, it seems like the company wants to turn the series into an action game.
I really wanted to like Dark as much as Demon's, but I just couldn't get out of the first area. It was so torturous. Kept dying trying to face the first group of three enemies with a crummy broken sword that did like, 2 points of damage. Ugh!
Pretty awful. I guess some people like games with crude humor though. Nothing wrong with that, just keep away from me. lol
Man, I can't do those Animal Crossing games. 
I just don't understand the appeal. I tried the Gamecube one back in the day, but it was just so boring.
Yeah, the new FF makes me kind of sad. I want an RPG, not an action game with RPG elements. It's just not the same anymore. They abandoned ATB style after FFX in favor of these pseudo-experience RPG flavor games. Their top 3 biggest selling titles were 7, 8 and 10. I feel that they need to get back to making games in those styles where battles were more strategic. I dunno. I'm just musing. I may sit the next one out because I don't like where the series is going - ie: games influenced by Call of Duty and high fashion.

Not excited for next-gen. They just aren't offering what I want. The WiiU is just an upgrade of the Wii. The Xbone restricts you so much that I don't even want to play their games. The PS4 looks the best to me, but it will be a slow start. But yes, I figured that the price points would be between 4 & 500 just to get in. I just don't have the money right now. Maybe in a year or so once I can save up enough money. By then, Smash Bros. will be out and I'll probably get that.
Yeah, suck it poor people. You can have the 360 until we phase it out (sooner rather than later).
They'll change their minds when the money runs out. All the Xbone apologists in the world can't save this doomed ship.
