Free pdf Strategy guides

I will give them a shot.  I usually use a non-spoiler guide from gamefaqs or some of the non-video let's play archives.  The lp guide I have used for Shadow Hearts are really funny.

That is why I don't have a Sega Saturn.  I like to shop after having a few adult beverages.

I don't have a lot more games than that, but I only have about 35-40 that aren't rpg's or have RPG mechanics.  That is a very good collection.  One problem with having a good job is having money to shit away ( or as I call it, invest) in video games.  Unfortunately, it looks like the current generation may be the last generation of that.

In all honesty, I bought a Ouya just to easily play emulated games on my TV.  I have been using my Dreamcast for this for years, but it is kinda slow.

I have actually played some of these.  I got half way through 7th Saga, before I abandoned ship.  I finished FFII, but if I remember correctly, you didn't even have to attack your pt to break the game.  You just had to chose an action, then cancel and it would count.  You could do it over and over to build up strength.  ToD is the only English tales game I haven't finished.  And I love the Tales games, even though I am probably too old to do so.  This just never got my attention, even though I spent an assload of money to get it.  Top 230 RPGs is an ambitious list, can't wait to read the rest.  I am playing Shadow Hearts Covenant for the first time.  Man are these games enjoyable.  Wish they would make another.

Agreed, I have only been building my RPG collection for a few years.  I have around 150, mainly ps1 and after.  I may have mentioned before, but once I get started, I obsess.  Unfortunately for rpg's, they seem to be the games that increase in value the most over time.

I would, but that wouldn't be right (wink, wink, nudge , nudge).  I have a problem where I obsess over owning the media.  I can't help it.

Games without Manuals ( crap )

I miss NES and SNES when epic games came with big manuals with mini strategy guides and foldout maps and shit.  Those were the days.  I would stay up late reading them the night I got a new game.  This generation, they have gotten thinner and thinner.  You can still get pre-order and bonus art books and shit, but it isn't the same.

Why The Internet Is A Horrible Place For Gamers

Well, the good news is that it appears these games are on the horizon (finally).  And they should be perfect given the amount of time they have had to work on them.  But if Sony has the same DRM always on and used game bullshit that is rumored for Xbox1, then I won't be playing either.  I hope the current generation isn't my last generation of consoles, but it may be,

I had BC on NES, but I don't remember much about it.  I have thought about buying NES and SNES games and replay them.  I am afraid that I will go overboard though.  I worry about needing a storage place to store all my cartridges I would end up buying.
