Ya man, good to see you too. I made my account when everyone else did but ya, was just too busy to be active at all. And it's been nice to just play things lately so I can actually participate in discussion. I should be stickin around now so I'll see U around

I might actually be able to do it now as I've been reading during my coffee/lunch breaks at work in addition to in the evening. Still don't know about finishing them over the summer though. I keep getting confused to the actual series page count because the ebooks are different than the print.

And I agree, these books seem fresh and innovative on a bunch of levels.

Ya, actually the guy who really got me into them probably could. But he was reading in the front row of my weather and climate class for half the year. And he's already read them at least once.

The PS3 is the best thing to buy as a university student. My roommates and I watch Netflix every night and have used almost every other media function at least once.

I hope this means they dont' feel the need to work on that much this next generation. I do like how at least the social media stuff actually makes sense for games and isn't just posting trophies on my Facebook

This is why people don't put effort into instruction manuals anymore—nobody reads them!

Just kidding (mostly), more essential information should have been in the tutorials. Lock on makes the final boss much more enjoyable, I'd imagine—though does not completely fix any of your mentioned flaws.

Leaving the Console Behind

I'm on the other side of the fence. PC gaming allured me last year with all those great Steam sales and such. But I HATE having to do extra work just to play my game. For example, PS3 controllers rarely work and getting it to work with 3rd party software is such a pain. Then I find out things like Bioshock 2 not supporting any controllers.

A Community Game Night?

This is the best way to play online game imo. Some of the clubs on 1Up would have some pretty sweet ones. They're just so dang hard to plan with so many busy schedules. But when they work out it's great!

Thank-you from another 1Up refugee. Gotta say I think I took for granted just how close that community was. I'm a little inspired at the moment and can't wait to see what happens with Pixlbit!
