Holy crap this thing looks incredible! Nintendo knocked it out of the park. Can not wait for this thing.
If switching between TV and portable is as easy as docking/undocking it, awesome. I wouldn't mind taking along Breath of the Wild or Dragon Quest XI for long hours spent at Pep Boys or the doctors' office, then just being able to play it on TV at home during my gaming time. So many games on DS, 3DS, PSP, and Vita, I was always thinking, "If only these games could be playable on a console on my TV."
I'm concerned about the sturdiness of the thing, but I can't wait to hear more announcements so I can find out. Especially when they announce more games, as that's what interests me the most about new consoles. I don't know why they couldn't have announced this earlier, though. Oh well.
It’s been a long time since we’ve seen an entry in the Metroid Prime series - 18 years, in fact. It was 8 years ago that Metroid Prime 4 was originally announced and its development was more than a little turbulent. Initially developed by Bandai Namco, it was later scrapped completely and development was shifted back to Retro Studios to start the project over. In the end, Retro has delivered a solid new entry in the series, but one that doesn’t totally capture what originally made the series so compelling.
