Street Fighter X Tekken Vita Characters Coming To Consoles Eventually

The 12 characters won't be exclusive to the portable after all.

Capcom's Seth Killian told Shacknews that the 12 extra characters in the Vita version of Street Fighter X Tekken will eventually come to consoles. "We'll find a way to make sure that console fans are happy, as well," Killian noted.

He didn't go into specifics on when or how they would add the dozen fighters to the console versions. This could be through DLC or an Ultimate-type release.

The 12 characters in question are Street Fighter's Elena, Guy, Cody, Sakura, Dudley and Blanka, and Tekken's Alisa, Christie, Jack, Brian, Lars and Lei.

Everyone is so negative on that version of Mega Man - I think he's my favorite character of the game. I'd much rather have that than yet another standard, plain jane Mega Man iteration. I'm more angry about his omission from (Ultimate) Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

The fat Mega Man was a mistake of the original box art, not the actual Mega Man. I think it would be funny to have him as an alternate costume but he's just not a replacement for the original. I'm right with you there about UMVC3, though.

As far as megaman, hes not one of the characters thats gonna be DLC (as far as I know, but Capcom confirmed that SFxT will be the only disk version of the game released, so its safe to say they will just be DLC

Time for a Change: Evolving E3 Through Technology

Nintendo made waves in the gaming industry recently when they announced that they wouldn’t be participating in a traditional press conference at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo. Right off the bat, people started in with the doom and gloom. Oh, Nintendo is fading fast! Nintendo doesn’t have anything to show! Rhetoric like this was prominent --as was talk that the entire E3 conference is a dinosaur -- and perhaps Nintendo is reading the writing on the wall and is beginning to part ways with the trade show. This sentiment has been circulating for years, and even though I believe that E3 is vital to the gaming industry, it’s high time that the show evolved.
