BBC is launching an enhanced version of its TV streaming solution on Wii.

BBC has announced that the BBC iPlayer service for Wii is relaunching as a dedicated Wii Channel. Originally Wii owners had to access the service using the Wii Internet Channel.

Square Enix Announces North American Final Fantasy XIII Release Date

A slew of information was released today, including the release date, new character information, and a video detailing the development process.

Last Friday, Square Enix released a teaser anagram on their website: A Henchmen Inventor Tent Unto. Only a few hours later some dedicated Final Fantasy fans cracked the code revealing the actual statement, Announcement Nov Thirteenth, which of course is today.

In the first 24 hours, Modern Warfare 2 has shattered the record set by the previous record holder.

Up until recently the record for the biggest sales launch day for a video game has been held by Grand Theft Auto IV, which sold 3.6 million copies.
