Ubisoft Reveals Splinter Cell: Blacklist

The action-heavy sequel to Conviction is coming in spring 2013.

During Microsoft's E3 Press Conference, Ubisoft pulled the cover off of their latest endeavor in the Splinter Cell series, Blacklist. Once again featuring Sam Fisher, players will find themselves embroiled in a Middle Eastern conflict, wherein Sam is in control of an operative group. The title, which is only known to be coming to the Xbox 360 at this time (though likely coming to other systems as well) will be available spring 2013.

Dogfight 1942 Divebombing Onto XBLA, PSN, Steam This Year

Insert Top Gun reference here.

City Interactive is delivering some arcade-style shoot-em-up goodness later this year in the form of Dogfight 1942. Originally titled Combat Wings: The Great Battles of World War II, the game had been intended as a retail game. However, along with the name change, the game will now be a downloadable only title that will be available on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and Steam when it's released.

Bungie's Project With Activision Revealed, Code-Named "Destiny"

Activision's lawsuit with former Infinity Ward developers revealed the agreement.

Activision's high profile development deal with Bungie, creator of the Halo franchise, was revealed during the equally high profile lawsuit between themselves and former Call of Duty developers, Jason West and Vince Zampella. The terms of the deal with Bungie weren't disclosed when the information originally came to light, but the lawsuit has revealed the full scope of the agreement. The 27-page contract states that Bungie is to develop four "sci-fantasy, action shooter games," code-named "Destiny." The titles will be released every other year, beginning in the fall of 2013.

Activision Reportedly Pays Former Infinity Ward Employees $42 Million

The trial will still commence on May 29.

Just when you thought it was safe to forget about West and Zampella, the former Infinity Ward employees who sued Activision over unpaid wages, new reports have surfaced from multiple sources indicating the Call of Duty veterans have received 42 million dollars from their former employer.

Ketzal's Corridors Review

A simple, fun and fast paced puzzler.

Ketzal’s Corridors is based off of a simple theme: Players take control of a block. This block, depending on which level you are playing, will come in a different shape that can be shifted to the left, right, forward or back. As you control the block, you are put into an area where you are constantly moving forward, and have to shift the block to fit through holes in the walls that lie ahead. These spaces in the walls all contain hearts, which you are encouraged to collect to raise your score and unlock levels.

Microsoft has announced an all new way to obtain an Xbox 360 for a much cheaper up front cost. The 4GB Xbox 360 console with Kinect can now be purchased at participating Microsoft stores for only $99. That is, when you sign up for a 2 year Xbox Live Gold membership at $14.99 a month. The coupon, featured above, can only be used at the 16 Microsoft stores scattered throughout the US.

Closure Review

Getting stuck in this darkness will break you down with glimpses of scary hospitals, factories and circuses (oh my).

Closure has been haunting gamers since its release, and it’s easy to see why. A two dimensional, monochromatic platformer almost entirely shrouded in darkness, this game  has the ability to teach all of its players how to see the light.
