1up wanderer looking for a place to rest

Greetings! as many of the readers here likely know, 1up come is going dark after nearly 20 years of creating a fantastic community. Though as time has passed the community has dwindled, but many of us saw it as a place where the true spirit of gaming existed and lived on from the 90's. As its doors close and I follow as many friends as I can around the internet, I find that Pixlbit appears to have a similar ambiance to what 1up had when it first started. Its a budding website that reminds me a lot of 1up, where gamers are themselves and the spirit of what once was can perhaps grow and continue to exist.

I look forward to joining up and being a part of Pixlbit as somthing new and exciting, and I am hopeful the community will have me :)

I need a home, and I think GiantBomb is too big..the thing I liked about 1up was that it was a small tight knit community. It was small enough that we really knew each other! I hope here I can get that same feeling, and make as good of friends, and watch this grow.

I don't know much about GiantBomb, but based off of Snee's blog over there it seems like a nuthouse lol. I am digging the small community here so far. Hope to see you around!
