I used to have this game, and I stupidly let a friend borrow it, who lost it or something. Hope this pans out cause I never got a chance to play it all the way through. Laters!

My copy was returned to me cracked... and my second copy recently decided to not play at all. *sob* ;_;

This was one of the first PS1 games I bought. It was better than a lot of reviewers at the time gave it credit for and was Square's earnest, if uneven, attempt at a non-linear RPG. Wonderful music too. I have my PS1 copy still, but I think this game would be a success on PSN. Almost all of Square's PS1 games sell well there.

I'm still miffed IGN called it "Square's bruised apple". xD

I can't remember if I played the first Saga Frontier or its' sequel. All I remember is that in the game I played I had a choice of many characters to begin the story with. Maybe the rest of the memory is suppressed because my college days as a gamer were rather stressful and depressing. (Yes, I know we're supposed to have fun in college but apparently I did it all wrong!)

The game opens and you have to make a profile... they ask for your blood type. xD

You also pick from 7 characters. Chances are you probably played the first. *^_^*

 I was always curious about this game seeing it on the back of the boxart for FFVII. Ah, good times.

I loved this game when it first came out and played it a lot. The only bad thing was that it was very difficult, and I didn't complete it. The sequel was pretty good, too!

I'll throw a signature your way. My friend got this game for his Playstation when it came out. I think with our combined efforts we still didn't ever manage to even come close to finishing it, haha.

Square has nothing to lose by publishing this game on the PSN.  But, they seem to not care about this game, or the entire series, in the West.  Otherwise, they could have released Frontier 1 and 2 over here along with the DS remake of Saga 2 to drive some awareness for the series.  I mean, I would buy them if they released them over here. 

According to misc chatter, Square is paranoid to release anything SaGa related since the "failure" of Unlimited SaGa (or was it Romancing SaGa?) for the PS2. With something that has a serious fanbase that still exists (enough that I've seen recent cosplay and webpostings)-  I really hope they concider! :3

I went and signed it. A very worthy cause if you ask me. Can't believe they would overlook this game. I may be biased because I love most Square and Square/Enix titles.....but come on. It needs to be on PSN.
