My own podcast, I kill everything in Diablo 3 and Ratchet & Clank PS3 games and a school year dies on its own.

Once again I slack off on my blogging responsiblity. I'm so worthless.

That's not a joke in the blog headline: I'm planning to start recording my own podcast within the next 2 weeks. It'll be called The Past and The Pending podcast and the idea is this: I'm the type of guy who, when it comes to entertainment options, I usually pick from the old and new. In both cases, I'm always catching up. For the podcast, the goal is to talk about those choices, whether it be films, tv, games, music, books: to pick a title that is new or as recent as possible and to pick a title from the past.

I'm currently setting up the programs I need and the hosting website (got one picked out). What I really could use is some guests. If the idea for this program is appealing to you and you would like to be on the podcast, let me know in the comments. I plan to release this on a bi-monthly schedule. I really want to make this work.

In Diablo 3, I completed the story mode on Normal difficulty and now I'm almost at the end of the game in Nightmare mode. Still so great. Haven't touched multiplayer yet.

I restarted my Gamefly subscription (yet again) and decided to dive into the Ratchet & Clank games for the PS3. I finished R&C Future: Tools of Destruction last week, enjoyed it and sent it back. A good friend of mine recently gave me a code for the Quest For Booty DLC and I recently finished that. A Crack In Time recently came in the mail and I plan to launch that this weekend, provided I'm not distracted by just having purchased Dragon Age: Origins on the current PSN sale.

The school year where I work just concluded and I'm just estatic, if not seriously exhausted. I hated these late nights and I hated how longer they got when I had to fill some vacancies left by quitters as the spring semester carried on. Things didn't get any easier after the basketball season wrapped up and I just want a change of pace. Of course, now the obstacle will be to finish all the summer work between now and mid-August: we started later in the summer than usual and we have less people than usual. No pressure at all.

That's all for now. Seriously, let me know if you'd want to participate in the podcast or if you just want to give some feedback. Otherwise, keep cool and enjoy what's left of the week!

Good luck with your podcast. I used to have Gamefly but after getting PS+ and the slew of free games I get there. I decided to cancel it. Gamefly is great for buying games also. I've bought a few and whenever I get the cases they are in prestine condition with any DLC or codes that come with the game still unised.

gamefly didn't work out for me and I think I'm on their blacklist now.

I'll probably pick up Diablo 3: Reaper of souls at some point. October might be a good month for that purchase!

Can't wait to play Diablo III. My friend is all psyched to play it co-op too. I just got to pick up two copies of the game sometime. Maybe in July if there's nothing new out.

after upon hearing your wise heads up (that I wish other publications could've been nice enough to share) that the PS3 version of Diablo III doesn't have DRM, I was about ready to give this game a go.

Then I found Ace Combat Infinity on PSN and the rest of the weekend was a blurr. I hang my head in shame.

Don't. In 2 months, the Ultimate Evil edition of Diablo 3 will be available for PS3. I'll upgrade to it and I imagine that would be the ideal version for you.
