Finished up Arkham Asylum

Just beat it, on Normal.  It took me roughly 8 hours, more or less in a straight shot, single sitting....that's the one benefit of waiting for your first day of work to hurry up and get here.

Im not going to bother with the challenge maps.  Beat the final Joker Titan boss battle after 6 tries. I was cursing myself the first few times I failed, then I took a break, watched some Mall Cops on Netflix (that show sucks) and then booted the game and hammered Joker's punk ass while my 6 year old watched.  All in all I'd say it's the toughest boss battle of any in the 3 currently released Arkham games.  The key to that fight....is making damned sure none of the henchmen are able to open up the weapons locker during Round 3.

In the spirit of comics, he's now saddled in front of the tv playing his game, LEGO Batman 2: DC Superheroes.

Moving right along....

Think I'm going to dig into a PS2 game.  Maybe Persona 4, get that shit outta the way.  If not Persona 4....then I'll dig into Persona 3 FES.  And if not Persona at all...then I'll chill and wait for AsRealAsItGets to make up his mind about what the Gaming Club's first game is gonna be.

yeah, beat that punk ass Joker down!!!

I wasn't a fan of the Poison Ivy fight.  Seemed out of place with the rest of the game somehow.

I heard that DC Superheroes game isn't bad.  But the new one that's coming out, with Batman in space, that sounds really fun.

PI fight was annoying but doable.  I nailed it first try with a bit of luck.

What's the matter Batsy?! Alittle "meh" under the cowl!? Oh,drat! Foiled again and in front of a 6 year old no less! There goes my reputation!

Mark Hamil's Joker is the creepiest ever, hands down.

I'm waiting for my employment to begin...so I figured what the hell...let's put in a whole shift toward Arkham Asylum.

I sorta powered through it because I didn't want to play it...but towards the end, I found myself enjoying it.

It was nice to see the Bigger Bang and Big Bang trophies pop, too lol

I actually found Asylum easier in general than City and thought the final Joker battle was pretty straightfoward. Then again, I found the battles much easier than the stealth segments in both games, so that may be why. Stealth bosses are really hard for me.

definitely straightforward as far as the objective goes.  However, if you don't know how to exercise proper crowd control (and I didn't) it can quickly become frustrating

good thing I waited to buy this game on the cheap if your able to beat this game in 8 hours. I noticed thos persona games on sale on PSN last week but wasn't sure if I should give them a try or play the originals first. Eventually I'll get to that series but I wonder if I'd be better off playing Persona 4 Arena.

I really liked AA. That was such a fun game, except I think I spent the majority of the game in dectective mode looking for the Riddler's Clues (found them all!).

Sounds like a fun time going back to the PS2 stuff. I've been digging through my PS3 games and found a couple I want to play...if I could only get myself to remove MLB The Show from the PS3

I'm having the most fun I've had since playing Dark Souls alll the way through for the first time.

Persona is the business.  I'm so LTTP with it.
