What's up Pixlbittallion?  How's your week been?  I don't know 'bout you guys and gals, but I'm ready for Halloween to be here already!

I must admit though, the buildup to Halloween is always, ALWAYS fun!

Without any further delay....I give you....The Weekender!

credit as always to the original designer of the above logo....

What Are YOU Playing???

Well, I myself just finished up the Undead Nightmare DLC for Red Dead Redemption.  I also started a new save file in Red Dead...it's one of my top 5 faves of all time, so it warrants another playthrough for sure!  I also recently purchased Dead Island Riptide, and figured I'd give that game a solid playthrough in the spirit of Octoberween.  Other than that I've been playing random games on Steam....like Audiosurf and a few others.

What Are YOU Watching???

Ehh, just random stuff on Netflix streaming.  I used to skate quite a lot when I was in my teens (ages ago), and just recently finished up Lords Of Dogtown and a documentary about the 2012 Street League Skateboarding Finals titled The Motivation.  Other than that I've been watching Man Vs Food, Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations, and Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern.

What Are YOU Reading???

I have about 100 pages left in my 2nd reading of A Clash Of Kings, after which I'll take a brief reprieve from the Song Of Ice & Fire and delve into a book called The Maze Runner.  Have any of you read The Maze Runner?  I'd love to know what you think about it.

What Are You Eating???

Umm, it's not paycheck week this week...so I'll probably be eating plenty of Chili and Cornbread...with a smattering of deep-fried corn dogs in between.

Your turn!!!

Playing: Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel all day Sunday and Monday.

Watching: Cinemassacre's Monster Madness 2014 every day in October. It's James Rolfe's (aka Angry Video Game Nerd) series of Horror movie reviews he does every year. They're fun.

Reading: Almost finished Freud's Interpretation of Dreams which is a very dry read, but interesting; and continuing James Joyce's Ulysses on audiobook. What an odd book that is.

Eating: Maybe a bunch of Chipotle and the usual microwave popcorn and hot chocolate with marshmallows.

Eating:  Leftovers tonight, as we are getting ready for my road trip, and don't have time to cook.

Watching: That Jets game. Also, I got the Bluray for the new Xmen I have to watch this weekend.

Reading:  Still my book about Bach meeting Frederick the Great, and also a Sweetwater music equipment catalog....

Playing:  Xenogears, and Pier Solar.

Eating: Ordered some thai food (Pad sa eaw with beef and fried spring rolls) last night after a kitchen disaster (don't ask, but things still smell burnt in the kitchen this morning!). And the beautiful thing about ordering from the Thai Garden is that they're right down the street (which is a big deal if you live in rural Maine, trust me) and that portions are big enough for at least two meals, so that's what I'll be having for lunch, too.

Watching: Been watching Supernatural , The Shield, HawthoRNe, Space Above and Beyond, and a bunch of Jet Li movies.

Reading: thinking about reading the Iliad and the Odyssey again. Dunno why.

Playing: silly games on Kongregate (Infectionator, Accelerator, Pixelo) and Sleeping Dogs.

Playing: I think I might play Psychonauts next.

Watching: Gonna watch the new Legend of Korra episode today. I've been watching the new Spider-Man cartoon on Netflix, which seems pretty good. Otherwise, I'll mostly watch football on TV.

Reading: Possibly my stats book

Eating: Healthier and cheaper than usual hopefully. Still wanting to get back into my old diet and exercise routine.

Playing: Diablo III as much as possible with some Pix the Cat mixed in if I need a refresher.

Watching: Rome & Homeland. The wife and I started Rome earlier this week and so far it's another quality HBO show. As for Homeland, I recently picked up the Blu Ray for season 3 so will start that with some friends Saturday night.

Reading: Just finished reading Seconds by Bryan Lee O'Malley so am between things to read. Might sit down and decide what comics I want to order on amazon next and maybe pick up the 2nd book in the Kingkiller Chronicle series by Patrick Rothfuss. The first one was really enjoyable.

Eating: I've half a meatball sub sitting in the fridge that i'm looking forward to polishing off tomorrow. Other than that, it's up in the air

That documentary is awesome, those cats pioneered modern skate boarding. I been watching the new season of American Horror story with my friend and I am liking it way more than I though I would. I miss having cable, love No Reservations and Bizare Foods.

Still reading my Tao book, almost done. Then I'm going to start on The Te of Piglet, its the follow of to the Tao book.

And of course I'm neck deep in Borderland TPS, really like the new mechanics and weapon types. This game really is a must play for any fan of Borderlands. Some people were quick to call it a glorified dlc, but it really can stand on its own.

Food, nothing too fancy this week, vietnamese shrimp poboy, eating a lot of fresh vegies, trying to lose some weight and its working.

Sounds like a fun filled weekend! As for myself

Playing: Picross 3D and random tablet games

Watching: I got caught up in one of my favorite Reality Shows Below Deck. Bravo had a marathon

Reading: I started reading Walt Whitman while sitting in a waiting room. I'd like to blame watching Dead Poets Society a couple of weeks ago.

Eating: After the Weekend Swapmeet I stopped by the local Winco and grabbed some steaks. I do love a good steak night.
