This game is a slow burn for sure. I never watched the original Alien movie, though the game makes me want to

I've been playing for about 1.5 hours and have yet to see a Xenomorph, aside from the big ass pike looking arm of one that impales Axel.

Other than the beginning-game pacing, I'm into this game. I'll be finishing it before I send it back for sure, unless I end up liking it so much that I want to pay the 28 bucks to Gamefly it'll take to keep the game.

You should watch Alien. It's really good. I'd like to get this game if I can find it cheap enough.

I got this from Gamefly, too. I plan to start it sometime this weekend.

The first Alien film is essential viewing.

I'm going to get this game sooner or later.

I love the original Alien movie, and from everything I've read this game is heavily inspired by it. The second film was a straight up action movie, and while I think it is okay, I much prefer the slower, creepier, and more horror focused original.

I REALLY want to play this but I don't know if I can handle the Dark Souls difficulty. I might wait until it's really cheap on a Steam sale.

well from what I understand, the save system is pretty unforgiving, coupled with the randomness of the alien, and you'll find yourself having to replay sections again and again. I haven't played it, but that's what I've heard about it.
