Yeah, the weather continues to be nasty but if its just low temperatures and winds from here on out, I'll be content. This snow and ice shit needs to happen only once in the south, if it all. 

Doctor Sleep is quite good. Don't expect the intense, psychological horror of The Shining. It's a different brand of horror, one that is tempered with themes of aging, substance abuse, life experience and failure (not to mention it has death on the mind). The character of Abra Stone is one of King's best creations. And it ties really well with the first book. 

Hello! Read your recent blog. I'd say you've had good reasons for your absence. I hope things are getting better.

By the way, I try to play Zen Pinball 2 on my Vita and you've achieved some crazy high scores on it. I keep trying to beat or reach them, to no avail.

Now I have that song in my head playing. I don't mind.

King may be happier with the tv miniseries of The Shining but it's not as well regarded as the movie is. 

2 Guns is a "buddy-cop" movie of sorts with Denzel Washington and Mark Whalberg. You're thinking of The Heat.

You can play Assassin's Creed IV on PS3 (which I did) or Xbox 360 as well.

I plan to start my rental copy of this for the weekend. It's been hard for me to get into the series due to either sloppy game mechanics or design here or there or the fact that I prefer to play good guys.

I rented it from Gamefly last year. I enjoyed it. And I never played any of the previous games so this game made me into a fan: I bought the HD Collection the next time it was on sale.

That's a lot of awesome. 

I understand where Kat is coming from and she's perfectly in her right to write about something that disturbed her. But without seeing the scene (reading a description is one thing, seeing the execution is another), I can't fully say whether I agree with her. A lot of things can happen between now and the game's release so we'll see if it makes the cut. She's not click-baiting, though. This is an important issue to her.

By the way, I haven't played the previous game so that may limit my perspective a bit.
