People are mad at killer is dead: Here's my eloquent retort!

Ya, it's not anything real bad. Just stuff like she believes me wanting a kid means I want her to be a housewife for life making her give up her dream (her mom said she gave up her job she loved when she had her), me getting a little rant about calling a movie a chick flick in these "non sexist" times, crap like that, Thanks to her controlling mom, she is a very liberal-thought-processing girl right now. There's a lot going on in her head, and I just put up with it for now cause I know once her mom finally lets the chain loose some she'll start to see reason on subjects.

Yep, the plain and simple fact is unless there is some hormonal imbalance, every human wants to bump uglies and will go for it with someone they like and find attractive. At least from what I can tell from my semi-feminist girlfriend, it seems the feminists are embarrassed or feel ashamed of their sexual urges, so hate that men will express them so easily.

And even though I have a girlfriend, if I were to say something that would anger feminists, it would probably upset her too. Brainwashing by parents is a terrible thing!

I can see how people would be offended by Lollipop Chainsaw (heck, it's one of the games on my list, same with Catherine, to play with my girlfriend just to see her reaction and how hard she slaps my arm!), but i wasn't offended by it. I must be a chauvinistic pig who wants to turn all females into sperm dumps, right? Ya, that's probably what those feminists would try to say before seeing how well I treat women. A man can love sexualizing in media, but still be one of the kindest people to females that you'll come across!

But thinking on it, I was lieing. I was offended by Lollipop Chainsaw. Those jumps over a zombie then chainsawing them from the crotch up did not have enough panty shots, of either Juliet or the female zombies! But in all seriousness, my loins still get fear struck in them every time I do that move. That makes Saw look like a merry-go-round.

Hawkeye Initiative Versus Ben: Round 2!

What's really sad here, is how because of "sexiness" is defined differently amongst the genders, that neither group can really get it right in trying for equality in media. Men are more simple-minded, and are turned on by more visual means, whereas women are more swayed by personality, insight, mannerisms, etc. Simply put, most men are turned on by the T&A whereas most women are turned on by the P&M (personality and manners). Sure, women still like guys with money and muscles, but those are the more superficial things that they don't notice at first. Most women notice a man's posture, smile, and personality before they notice his wealth or muscle mass. Same situation for guys. We notice the T&A and curves first, and then notice the personality and all after the fact. There had been many times when I came across a girl with a "bangin bod", and thought it'd be awesome to be with her, but after not even 5 minutes of talking with her, found her to be insufferable. I was attracted to her by her body, and still find it sexy, but wouldn't plan on getting in that mess.

When me and my girlfriend are talking sweet to each other, and the topic of what makes the person sexy to the other one, it always ends up the same way: her saying things such as my "brown cow eyes", my personality, how I'm sweet and caring, etc, whereas I end up saying things like her curves, her butt, her chest, and then throw in some of the more girl-centered things such as personality and eyes so I don't get femi-nazi'd (it's the one downside to the relationship. Her mother is a true Norma Bates in every since of the name.). That's the perfect example in the differences of what men and women find sexy.

The question that should be asked to all the feminists big on the "how do you like this guy sexualized?" thing are beating a dead horse with a hair, it's that useless. Of course us heterosexual men will laugh at the depiction, because we think it looks ridiculous, AND women would all think it's ridiculous too. But look at the sexualized females on covers, and while women may not like them, it does appeal to men. Women need to be comfortable in their own skins and realize the difference between fantasy and reality, and use their brains and actually see if a male character would have the non-visuable traits that make them sexy to women before bashing everything. The one problem is most women are attracted to the same type of inner-being, whereas men have a wider range of physical attributes to pick from. I prefer slim women with conservatively-sized breasts and butts, whereas the guy next door could like his BBWs with F-cups.

Honestly, for most of these modern comics, the women are too muscular, busty, and have too big of butts to draw my interest, hence why I do prefer manga. The women in there slimmer and there is a much wider variety of body types in their, and of course cute faces compared to the more and more manish faces on women in western comics.

Meet Justin: Going to jail 9 years for a sarcastic quip!

What's sad though, is many "gamers" (not people on this site), would just sit through the stern talking-to, and then just turn right around and do it again thinking they're special. While the bail/bond was exuberently high, they should have done something like the 8 year jail time, but allow a way to do something else to pay for the crimes. That way he gets scared pretty badly, and learns his lesson. Think of it like a "scared straight" program, pretty much. That would be my suggestion.

I know I'm the black sheep in saying this Ben (nothing new for me), but I feel he did deserve punishment in the form of jail time, but not to that extent. Freedom of speech only covers so much, really. I admit I have made jokes in poor taste before too, but at the same time, it wasn't on such a sensitive subject and so easily do-able. I could say "I hate black people", and under freedom of speech, I'm protected because it is an opinion and there's no indication I would harm anyone from that statement. But, if I said "I'm going to go shoot up all the black people on the west side of my town", even if I put a "jk, lol" after it, I would expect for the law to hammer down on me. There's a difference between something in poor taste with no implications, and something in poor taste where people could get hurt if it was real. Heck, the police could have found he already had infractions on his record, or that there were guns in his home. Combined with that, the law has every right to lock him up, as it is still a threat. Just like yelling "Bomb!" in an airport can get you tackled by ten men quicker than you can blink, in this day and age nothing can be ignored.

Xbox One: The Embodiment of the American Dream

At least we still have Sony who loves their consumers. And heck, except for like, one or two games, any game not on the PS4 will be available on the PC, and in some cases 360. Not the best solution, but a solution nonetheless. Still, Sony ftw.

The Order: 1886 Preview

As a Callahan, I am buying this game even if it gets the lowest ratings any game has ever gotten, just since there is FINALLY a Callahan in a video game. But from the looks of this trailer, it's gonna be pretty good, so no worries there.

Just from the trailer and title, my thoughts are it'll hopefully be a series, almost like Assassin's Creed, in that each iteration follows a different person or group of people in varying times, but are all a part of this "Order". Also, I think the enemies may either be some type of werewolf, or my more likely thought, aliens, which could contribute to the technology being advanced for 1886. Really looking forward to this game, and hope it's a launch title so I can play it Day One! I need something besides Call of Duty: Ghosts and Assassin's Creed 4 for the PS4!

Microsoft has a solution for you if you don't have Internet.

This is what I hate about Microsoft. They say "It's my way or the highway" and screw the consumers. If they think they can have a console thrive on the "broskie" crowd, they'll learn how wrong they are. Sony is the only company that is remembering the people that made them who they are, and that's the core/hardcore gamers, not the broskies or the casual consumer.

Also, on the topic of the whole Kinect thing and all, what I really dislike is, even though they say it won't always be watching, they can lie as they have done in the past with other things. I game in my bedroom, and, being a healthy 18 almost 19 year old young man who practices abstinence with his girlfriend, I need to relieve stress so to speak at times, and I don't want my gaming console, Microsoft, or the government checking in on my "me time". It's kinda gross and scary.

Rumor: Microsoft paying Third-Party publishers from showing PS4 games on stage or floor at E3?

Posted on 06/07/2013 at 11:57 PM | Filed Under Blogs

Nintendo only doing the Nintendo Direct stuff for E3 and now the Microsoft canceling interviews thing just goes to show that Sony is really the last group that cares for the people that made them what they are. Heck, the PS3 is still the most game-centric console. Xbox has had all this extra stuff thrown on, and the Wii/U is all about gimmicks now and they are only slowly starting to get back to the gamers, albeit far too late.

One example I can think of that I love is, say I had regular tv on, and wanted to play a game. I go and put a game into a system, and then flip over to the input for said console. On the Wii (don't know how it is on the Wii U since I do not own one), you would have to go to the menu selection for the disc to start your game. On the Xbox, you would still be stuck at one of the innumerable ad-ridden Live sections, and have to manually select your game. On the PS3 however, the game would have already started up all by itself. It doesn't sound like much, but it shows where priorities truly lie. And with the whole start-up thing, if you already have a game in or there's no game in yet, the default "section" on the XMB is PSN-related items. One button press to the left, and you're at the Games section. One to the right of PSN? Your friends list to see if your friends are playing games you could join in on. Everything else is farther down the line to the left.

Everything now is pointing towards the fact that Sony is the last bastion for actual gamers, with Nintendo finally slowly recovering from the Wii, and Xbox One... It's some thing that I don't need since I have a Comcast cable box and a blu-ray player. Oh wait, that's right, that blu-ray player is my PS3, my mistake!
