God of War III
Sony unveils some value packed discs this month.
You’ve probably heard of the Ratchet and Clank HD Collection for PlayStation 3 by now. It came out in Europe not too long ago and we knew it was on the way for North America relatively soon. What we didn’t know was the new collection initiative Sony is rolling out with the release of this highly anticipated remaster.
With 2011 in full swing, the staff has reflected on the past year and highlighted the absolute best on each system.
Unquestionably, 2010 was an impressive year for gaming, with many great titles releasing across all of the modern systems available on the market.

Back in 2005 when the original God of War was released, I was not a PlayStation 2 owner. In fact, it wouldn't be for at least another year after its release, close to the release of God of War II, that I would actually acquire one. When I finally got my hands on the game, I was in love with it from the minute I turned it on. As someone who had always been deeply intrigued by Greek mythology I felt a connection with the game as it centered on a topic that I was passionate about. I put many hours into the game, beating it on every difficulty and unlocking everything the game had to offer. Not only was the game fun, but the storyline was fantastic and honestly I just couldn't get enough. With God of War 2, the same was true, and Kratos' second journey was even more interesting and epic than the first. Naturally with the announcement of God of War III, I was just as excited as the next God of War fan, especially with all the hype and the promise that it would be the best game yet in the series.
A recent Sony quiz seems to suggest it.
With the release of God of War Collection this week, which includes a demo for God of War III, hype for the upcoming game is clearly building. As such, Sony has added a module to their Retail Loyalty Site revolving around God of War III. The module allows players to take a quiz on the game in order to learn more about the title.
People who preordered the game are now receiving their vouchers to download the title.
God of War III has garnered much attention lately with the announcement of the Ultimate Edition and the exclusivity of the demo depending on what products you buy and where you live.
An exclusive art book, and soundtrack are only some of the items contained within.
God of War fans may be excited to know that today Sony officially announced the upcoming release of the God of War III Ultimate Edition.
God of War Collection won't be the only place to get access to the exclusive demo.
Recently, it was announced that the God of War III demo was going to be in limited supply, specifically bundled with the upcoming title God of War Collection.
While Japanese gamers will have to purchase inFamous to get their demo, US gamers will need to buy a different game to get theirs.
As reported earlier, Japanese gamers will soon have access to the God of War III demo via a purchase of inFamous.
Though a Western developed game, Japanese Infamous purchasers will be the only ones privy to the demo.
