Well my horror movie buffs and fiends, here is a little movie with a Christmas theme to it. Krampus is the one that delves out the punishment to the bad little kiddos and apparently everyone else!

The are some well known comedic actors in this flick. These are a few of the actors you may know,

Adam Scott: Parks and Rec, Hot tub time machine, Our idiot brother, just to name a few.

Toni Collette: Little Miss Sunshine.

David Koechner: If I need to list a movie or tv show that he has been in.......

Conchata Ferrell: The only real reason to ever have watch two and a half men.

Look for Krampus 4 December 2015. I have already made plans to go.

I recognized Adam Scott because of Parks and Rec ("Is there a non-gay way to ask him to go hunting with me?").

Can't say I'd recognize Toni Collette.

Had to look up David Koechner, but immediately recognized his picture on BOOM! WHAMMY! SLAM DINGER! Google.

I liked 2+1/2 Men unironically when Charlie Sheen was on it and I don't care how "uncultured" that makes me. But Conchata Ferrell played definitely my favorite character and probably the only one on that show I saw as a "real" person, whatever my brain thinks that means.

As for the movie, I'm always a bigger fan of horror-comedy than I am of straight up horror. I just don't get scared the way I used to. The Babadook made me uncomfortable in a way most movies don't, but I'd say that was more depression than fear. But An American Werewolf in London is one of my favorite movies of all time.

If Krampus gets good reviews, I'll be on board. I still need to watch Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil. Hopefully, still on Netflix. Gonna need to fire up some horror movies/games (I only own Resident Evil 4) since it's the season.

I am playing RE4 too. You have to watch Tucker and Dale, that movie, at least for me and those that have watched it, is  funny as hell.

Have you beat RE4 before? I never played an RE until I bought the HD remake on Steam for sale and got stuck somewhat early on. The sound in my headphones in that game was so spot on creepy I want to go back to it though.

I haven’t . This my first play through. My neighbour was going to have a yard sell and asked if I wanted any of his games before he sold them.

I second Larry's "you have to see Tucker and Dale"!

I'm not a fan of scary or creepy horror. I like comedic horror like Shaun of the Dead, Bubba Ho Tep, and Tucker and Dale, or really bad B movies.

Haven't seen Bubba Ho Tep. Shaun of the Dead is still the weakest of the Cornetto trilogy for me, with Hot Fuzz being the strongest and At World's End being some mix of close and distant second if that makes sense (it doesn't, I know). I think most folks are the opposite of me there, but screw most folks. :p

But yeah, you guys are not the only people telling me to watch Tucker and Dale so definitely this month if not tonight or tomorrow assuming it's still on Netflix.

Watch Bubba Ho Tep. The main characters are Bruce Campbell as Elvis and Ossie Davis as JFK in a nursing home that's being haunted by a cowboy mummy. It's hilarious.

Never liked the first Evil Dead much at all, but the second was a good one. Haven't seen Army of Darkness yet either. That's my take on Bruce Campbell movies I've seen.

That said, you sold me. lol

What's with the fear of goats? I just want to tickle Krampus's pointy beard.

I have no clue. I think this movie will be very funny.

I may have to call my comedy movie friend for that one. We are both Adam Scott fans from that TV show Party Down.

I like Evil Dead movies.  They're pretty clever.  But usually I'm not into horror or anything like it

I remember when I was around 20, my boss bought me the complete Faces of Death collection for my birthday and we watched like six hours of it during work.  Man, I felt terrible on my bus ride home... and for days later.

I thought the faces of death movies were kinda funny, especially the up beat happy tune playing when the guy is getting "Exicuted in the electric chair".

Comedy horror has been "my thing" since Evil Dead,Critters,Ghoulies,Gremlins, and House 1 & 2. lol. I'll probably end up watching Krampus. I also recommend John Dies At The End.
