Good morning Pixlpeeps! Monday is back and I am ready for the week. I can say that I am at 90% but I am a little unsure if I should hit the gym. I do like my treadmill time but I don’t want to aggravate anything. Maybe I’ll spend time with the Air Conditioning instead. So yesterday morning I spotted some game deals on and well $17 later I added 14 games to my Steam library err Digital Mount Backlog. I installed a couple of them right away including this one

Batman Arkham Asylum - Steam

 

I haven’t played this game in a while and I know that there was talk a remastered version of Asylum and City but I found those two games and Origins for $4.20 each so for $12 I bought these games. It took some willpower to not buy Arkham Knight with Season Pass for $20.

As for Arkham Asylum I just started and after tinkering with how to remove the frame cap I think I have hit the sweet spot for this game and I will continue to play it later on. The game looks good and I can’t wait to go through the experience of playing through this game.

Grid Autosport – Steam

 

I don’t know if I mentioned it but I unlocked all the races for one of the four racing types and I got the offer to race with the top team. Apparently there is an achievement where I have to race the top race in each discipline with the top team. I’m most likely going to leave this until the end because it’ll be something to look forward to instead of dreading the endurance races.

 

Currently I am enjoying playing through the turner class of races because it’s your typical races you would find in any racing game.

 

NBA 2K16: Michael Jordan Edition – Steam

I finished my first season in MyLeague going 80-2 (damn you Chicago Bulls and New Orleans Pelicans) and I won the NBA Title. To celebrate I decided to make some changes to the uniform and arena.

 

I decided to add NBA Champions at the ends of the court and change the midcourt logo by adding the Larry O’Brien trophy behind the regular SD logo.

I also thought it would be fun to change the uniforms and combine one of my favorite 90s uniforms, the expansion Toronto Raptors

And combine it with the current Aztecs brand and I came up with this

I like how they came out, and it’s much more colorful than the current simple uniforms.

 

Disney Emoji Blitz – iOS

I’ve been playing this game for less than a week and it has become my go to time waster on my phone and iPad. The game is your typical freemium match 3 game where you have 60 seconds to create as many matches as possible

 

You have two meters, one is a rainbow meter under the game board and when that is filled, the Blitz happens. I think the point value is increased but I’m not sure. Also if you clear enough of your emoji icons you can unlock a special power up depending on the emoji.

 

You have different objectives to accomplish as well as trying to unlock special generic (sounds funny) emoji’s like shoes, food, and other goodies.

To unlock new emoji characters you use in game currency to purchase gold and silver blind boxes.

 

It takes some time to earn enough coins but it’s worth it especially when looking for the special emoji’s that only pop up when certain character emoji’s are used. This is by far the most times I have ever used the word “emoji” in verbal or written form. The game is fun, the hearts regenerate pretty quickly and it is Disney. If you like match 3 games and eventually using Disney emoji’s give this game a try.
