Grand Theft Auto V On PC

This past weekend the only game I’ve really spent any significant amount of time with was with the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V. I did fire up the PS4 and after some updating I played a bit of MLB The Show but other than that it was all GTA V.

If you remember the last time I played GTA V was on PS4 and I struggled to complete it because I just wasn’t into it. The PS3 I enjoyed, PS4 not so much, and now on PC it has become a lot of fun again. What I am enjoying is using the mods in the single player game

I’m enjoying using the Enhanced Native Trainer mod where you can control a number of features including playing in god mode, super jump, vehicle spawning, and being able to spawn at a given location. I haven’t been doing anything too crazy with actual mods other than adding two cars, the Nissan GTR that apparently was a giveaway, and Eleanor from Gone in 60 seconds

It’s fun having a car that isn’t available in the game, and for you folks who played the game, once you have an in game car, it automatically shows up everywhere. I’m playing at a fast pace in Single Player because I want to mess around with the environment after finishing the single player, and I want to tackle the side mission stuff I ignored in the previous two play through.

I wish Rockstar had more Steam features like screen grabs and FPS counters because I’d like to see what I am playing at. The default settings are all at very high, which seems to be the usual for my laptop. The game runs fine and most likely I will get some game play during lunch. I won’t play online because I’m using mods and I don’t want to be that guy plus I’m not a fan of online play anyways.

Alright Pixlpeeps I am off, have a good week!

That’s all for now, more later!

I couldn't handle the violence in GTA so I deleted it off my PS4.  I mean, I just kept running around killing people, and it got to me. When I was younger I didn't care but.  I found myself in a truck running over people shortly after that terror attack in france, and I was like ug.  It's too bad, cause I know it's a good, deep game.

At this point with GTA 5 its all about driving/flying around, and trying out some new stuff. I just got the Batmobiles to work, and there is another mod where you can check out the interiors of different buildings that's fun.

I get you on the violence. Its a little much in the game and I'll tackle it eventually, but the main reason I got the PC version was to tinker and see how much more fun the game can be by trying out some mods.

yeah I actually wish I had bought the PC version so I could enjoy all the insane mods.  I still might get it eventually.

I wonder if they might do mods on a XBO/PS4 version of the game like they are with Skyrim. I sooo want Skyrim for XBO just to play around with mods.

I hope do if they are allowing some mods for Skyrim. Having the ability to change the game gives it new life. It's fun trying things out, and seeing if you want to keep them. Currently I'm trying a mod where someone created Fast and the Furious's Racewars at the old airport.
