Good morning Pixlpeeps! We are supposed to get more rain here in sunny Southern California which I am ok with because again I like the rain. There really hasn’t been anything crazy exciting other than I visited the far off land known as the other bedroom, no mask required. This is also where I spread out my football cards, stacked and ready to be cataloged and then placed in a box. Oh and so this happened a couple of days ago…

 

This Happened A Couple Of Days Ago:

On Facebook my mom loves to post pictures of the fruits she grows. It’s a hobby, and she likes them. One of her pretentious Facebook Friends (you know the people, try to sound intellectual pulling new words out of a thesaurus, all around grade A dbag) and he says the fruit looks awful. Being a good son (not really it was slow night) I decided to call him out on his BS and asked where his fruits are. He then replies with a backhanded compliment and tried to explain to me what is beauty. Again I called him out on his BS, mocked his intellect, and continued to ask where his fruits are because you know all sizzle no steak with these guys. He hasn’t replied because I’m assuming he’s frantically looking for new ways to school me on beauty. Oh you crazy virus, I would normally not get into these types of arguments on Facebook because they’re stupid but again slow night, and seriously who the f*ck is this guy to talk trash about someone’s hobby? GTFOH with this nonsense…actually I take it back, even if we didn’t have Virusfest 2020 I would have jumped in.

QB1 - Netflix: Ok so I mentioned this before but I finished Season 1 of QB1 which follows 3 High School Seniors as they play through their Senior Seasons and prepare for college. You see all the people who take the game way too seriously, including one random guy who tried to talk trash to one of them because he left a public high school for a Catholic School. Hey you have to do what’s best for you and if that means going to a different school you do it. Also you get a peek into the lives of these kids. Two of the kids you just want to root for, whether it is because of edit or because that’s how they really are. The third kid, comes off as your typical rich kid who has delusional parents. You kinda feel bad until you just observe their actions and you’re like tone it down a couple of notches. It was an interesting series but I think I won’t watch the other seasons.

I like to think I am on a good pace right now, where I knock out two football teams a day (sorting out copies, placing cards into brand order, counting, and then cataloging) and I think I may need another order of 10 800 count boxes. I’m not quite sure yet but we shall see what plays out with my baseball cards.

Other:

-My 3^rd order of 10 800-card boxes came in which was nice. Again I may need a 4^th order but we shall see

-On the Costco website I saw that 5TB external drives are $80 which was tempting but I am holding off and instead I bought a 20lb bag of rice that should be here next week. I really don’t want to go outside right now. I also have an order of ice tea mix coming from Amazon that should be here later on today. I’m thinking about switching from Pepsi to this stuff for my caffeine fix. I have some Lipton Ice Tea mix in the house that I use Sugar in the Raw with but I am running low so it was time.

-I might order some cards this weekend, depending on if I find something cool and in my price range.
