You know how I like to occasionally mess with scam callers, right? Well for a couple of months I have been using this feature where if a number isn’t in my contacts it goes straight to voicemail. It works. I’ve missed a ton of scam calls and the random ones from New Mexico letting me know that it’s time to vote (I’m in California). Well today I encountered a new one. Guy called me, it went straight to voicemail and he left a message. He wanted to let his neighbors know about the word of the lord, proceeded to read a passage, and then wished me well on my day. Now I’m not a fan of scammers but guy didn’t seem like he had any evil intent, he wanted to take a couple of minutes share his view and move on. I have no beef with him…but I did block him. Good luck random guy.

To make this video game related, Epic is giving away Borderlands: The Handsome Collection on their version of Steam. Alright Pixlpeeps go WASH YOUR HANDS!

That’s all for now, more tomorrow!

Oooh, where to get this voicemail feature?

It should be under your phone settings. I'm on an iPhone but if you are on Android I believe they have something similar.

I think my LG Stylo might be too old for the feature and I need a new phone anyway, but I'll check one way or the other. Thanks.

Yeah, I use that feature on my phone that doesn't notify me of unknown numbers. Every once in a while, someone leaves a message in chinese or it's some robocall. But I think this has cut down on my frequency because I NEVER answer unknown numbers.

It is an amazing feature. I wish the house phone had something like it. Yesterday just for kicks I answered an 800 number, didn't say a word until the other person spoke and all I said was "Wrong Number". They continued and I said "What part of wrong number don't you understand" and remained silent. They finally gave up after a couple of times and hung up.

I should look up that feature. I get job recruiters that all say, "I'm on a recorded line". What do they need a recorded line for? It's too suspicious for me so I ignore them. But jobs. I'll find a better way.

I've been told of a novel way to keep social distance, with a pool noodle - my phrase of the week.

It is a damn good feature and I'm sure both iPhone and Android have something similar under the phone settings.

Stay a pool noodle away from me...and wash your hands. Can you believe someone out in public saying this while wearing a mask would be hilarious in 2019 but 2020 its an everyday thing. Crazy times...
