Adventures With Batman

Ok so I have my breakfast sandwich (thanks Costco for selling boxes of Jimmy Dean Croissant sandwiches), and a Pepsi so I am ready to go. I’m actually waiting for my sandwich to lower in temp from surface of the sun, to just under burn all the taste buds. I live dangerously. Ok so one game took up most of my gaming time last week and that was my continuation of playing Batman Arkam Origins on Steam.

Now it’s been a while since I’ve played this game (my previous Steam save reads 2017, and I think I played through it on PS3 but not sure). Let’s be honest Asylum/City/Knight and maybe Origins to an extent kind of all blur together for me, but yet here I am playing this game. I’d like to think I’m making good pace with the game having hit the 30% mark by collecting random things I should be looking for and triggering actual main storyline plots. Here’s the kicker: apparently during a boss battle I glitched it, and was able to continue on without having any prompts to continue with the story. I was collecting data packets, taking down Networks, and unlocking the radio towers but nothing was triggering the game to move forward. I went back to the scene of the crime and when I went to the spot where something was to be triggered (thanks for the walkthroughs Google) the only thing that happened is the door closed too fast for me to walk in, and when I did walk in the environment disappeared. I exited the game and restarted it maybe 3 times found another data pack in the area when the environment didn’t glitch, it got saved, quit, restarted and finally I got what I was looking for…kinda.

See at the spot where the door closes too quickly for me to walk in I see the prompt to hit X, and I do and then I hear the audio of the boss talking trash, and I follow another prompt and boom this triggers the cut scene. Oh happy day that I don’t have to restart the game and I get to continue on with the storyline. I figured all of this out, around 10pm after watching 90 Day Fiance. I’m currently in the hotel making my way to the penthouse being all Batman angry.

Madden 20 - Origin: I don’t know what season I am in for Franchise Mode but right before the playoffs DeMarcus Lawrence said he was going to retire and he wanted to go out a winner. I figured this was the right time to do something crazy and that was trade Zeke during the offseason. Why not start the rebuild now? So the Cowboys get to the Super Bowl and win what could be the worst SB ever played against the Indianapolis Colts. In the offseason I knew DLaw was going to retire and since I was going to trade Zeke anyways I traded him to the Chargers for Joey Bosa. The crazy thing after I do that I check the headlines and apparently the game decided that Dallas should cut Zeke’s backup who I wanted to use as the starter, then DLaw decides he wants to come back. Oh boy. I sign two RBs, one who was like Pollard, the backup and another guy. The first RB is total garbage, but surprisingly the backup is really good. The Cowboys are currently 2-1 in my crazy Franchise Mode.

Alright Pixlpeeps I am off. Breakfast might be cool enough to eat so have a good week!

That’s all for now, more later!

90 Day Fiance, Batman, sandwiches, Madden.

Which 2020 Apocalypse Bingo card am I reading right now? Tongue Out

I'm glad you figured out the glitch. In my case, the game just shut my computer down during one of the boss fights. lol The first time I played the game was before I had a really good laptop but I culd run Tomb Raider 2013 really well on it so figured I could do so with any game. I had to learn about game optimization later on, and Origins is apparently somewhat known for being buggy on PC.

Hope you had a good breakfast.

Haha the sad thing is, that might be one of the more normal 2020 Bingo Cards.

I'm glad about figuring out the glitch too. Heck I just went and checked on another game I haven't played in a year or two because of a horrible glitch that would not let me start a game and now the game runs fine. Seriously it would be nice if developers would test out their games. Yeah I've also run into the hardware problems. It's crazy that Madden doesn't need a lot of horsepower to run but has problems every now and then but when I run a game that needs all the horsepower I can throw at it, it runs fine. These are times when consoles make more sense.

I know I played some of Origins but I can't remember a thing about it. I have it here somewhere on PS3.

That's me with all the Batman games. They all look the same, kind of do the same things, so they all run together.

Actually, that Franchise mode sounds fun. Maybe it's time I pick up a Madden again, especially considering I'm having my doubts there's going to be a real season.

I played Arkham Origins. It's not as bad as people said when it came out, but it's not great either. I did like the Mad Hatter level though.

I love Franchise beause you can build the team. I'm going to set up a new Franchise as a GM so I can move the team into a new building.

Man that Mad Hatter level was competely different from the rest of the game. I dug it too.

You've just reminded me that I still need to finish Arkham City.

Finish Arkham City!...I'd like to say that I'm 99% sure I finished the game. Maybe I'll check after this to make sure.
