It’s a couple of days before Thanksgiving, which means Black Friday deals are hitting the internets, which is nice but I do kinda miss strolling into a store watching people go nuts on a cheap TV/laptop while the DVDs were located in the clothing section of all places or my personal favorite next to the milk (you crazy Walmart). The past couple of years my Black Friday shopping has been online because I’ve either been visiting family, or just lazy.
This year I’ve continued this trend but I really didn’t buy any “huge” games. Heck I’ve probably spent under $10 adding to Mount Backlog that I’m trying to bring down. I might add another later on today if I deem I need another racing game for the Switch. Here is my 2021 Black Friday on a Monday haul:
Build your own Nitro Bundle (5 for $2.99) - Fanatical (Steam Keys)
-Antigraviator: It looks like Redout…which I also own. I like racing
-F1 Race Stars Complete Edition: Mariokart with F1 drivers. I liked it on PS3, so why not on PC.
-Hotshot Racing: This is the game I wanted. It’s a racing game that looks like Virtua Racing but with better polygon shaped cars. It’s supposed to be a retro style racer
-Insane 2: Off-road racing, why not
-Super Street: The Game: Another game I wanted to try. The sequel is on the Switch and I wanted that game but I wanted to see if it was worth playing. It’s not a good racing game yet I kinda enjoy it.
A couple of days later on Fanatical I decided to hop on another game because it was like .80 cents in their daily deal section (Steam Key)
-Hob: it looked like a fun adventure game
I also picked up a couple of games on the iPad
-Retro Goal: From the folks who made Retro Bowl (looks like NES Tecmo Bowl). They created a 16-bit looking soccer game. Again everything is touch and takes a game or two to get used to but it is a fun game and it has I believe every league on the planet. I spent the $1.99 to get the unlocked version with zero adds and the full game.
-Slay: This is a turn based strategy game that was apparently made for the PC in 1995. I downloaded it because it was free.
Can’t wait to read what you good people bought for your Black Friday hauls. I’ll be back on later on tonight but right now I need to get ready to hit the grocery store because apparently everything is still off the coast of sunny California. Have a good one!

F1 Race Stars looks good. I always love F1 racing but those games are too hard core for me. A Mario Kart style might be just what I've been looking for.
Hob! The Torchlight II devs. Oh yes. I'll be watching for this one.
Slay looks really interesting.
I'm going to be working on Black Friday but only until 4:30, so maybe I'll cruise through some stores and see what appeals, impulsively.
I have to work on Black Friday. Luckily I work in the plumbing section of a major hardware chain, so I probably won't have to deal with too many crowds since people usually don't buy toilets on Black Friday. :)
