I know some of you see the TBA ( To Be Annouced) on the side of some games being developed. Well sometimes that TBA means That Bitch Aint coming out. Look at some of the games this recently happened to.

The Last Guardin

How many of you got tired of the push backs on this game. I want to give up hope on it but, a Shadow Of the Colossus movie is being made, so there is hope.

Prey 2

Now some of you may not have like the first Prey. I loved it, the antigravity parts were inovative to me. First it was said the game was not canceled, the studio said it would push it back to the first of January 2013. Well that date has pasted and I have not seen a release date yet.

South Park The Stick Of Truth

Well we know what happened there.

Do you think a project should be hyped up or just never mention it at all? These games get a green light then either the studio falls apart or they do a quick release to get it out and you get a game like the new Aliens game. I am begining to not believe the hype on some games.

Final Fantasy X HD. That's all I want. I will buy a Vita that freaking day.

They showed it on the Vita a couple of weeks ago.

I actually don't know what happened with the South Park game, but I'll look it up lol.

I really wish The Last Guardian had come out, it looked amazing, but I don't have a console to play it on anyway, so oh well.

It's sad when it never actually hits, but they have to promote their game to at least try and get some market buzz for it, even if they know they're having financial or other issues that could shut them down. It just sucks for everyone involved.

It is part of THQ stuff that just happened. It may come out between April  or 2014 LOL.

Ah, ok, I forgot THQ was doing it.

The South Park game was picked up by Ubisoft, I believe.

Yes they picked it up but said it would be released between April 2013 or in 2014.

I was wondering where Stick Of Truth ended up myself. With The Last Guardian it seemed as if everyone had good intentions but had too much ambition. (Aka, what they wanted to do seemed to go beyond today's hardware and software.)

However, if you dig games like Ico and Shadow Of The Colossus, I can totally recommend Majin: Forsaken Kingdom! It's an underrated gem done in the same vein!

Nobody could get along in the project. Hey it happens but somebody should buy the rights for it.

Ah, the good ol' TBA.  I guess you can add Final Fantasy Versus and the Type-0 localization to that list, too.  Or how about the localized PS3 version of Tales of Vesperia?  I have to say, it's kind of fun (and depressing) to sweep through GameFAQs to see all those games that were announced but never materialized.

That said, I also think games are announced too soon.  I know and understand why they do it, but when a game isn't delivered it really sucks.  I prefer the old way games were handled, back when they were announced right before they were about to be printed and published.  It was kind of cool not having to wait a year or two for a game you heard about and wanted to play!

I think the PS3 version of Vesperia was more wishful thinking than anything, as Namco never specifically promised that one. I wish they had, though. I own the 360 game, but since I'm a PS3 guy now, I'd love to have the PS3 version. Plus all the added content.

FFvXIII, I think they ought to just fold that one into FFXV at this point, hopefully using the stuff we saw in Agni's Philosophy. I wish Square Enix had considered making Type-0 a HD remaster for the PS3.

Honestly I think square needs to pass FF off to someone else. Get some fresh blood in that game because it really has not done that great for a while now.

I believe the South Park game is still in coming out basically on time. It got picked up immediately during the THQ sale.

It did but it went from a solid release date to almost a one year window. Hopefully it will change. I want to play that game.

Don't believe the hype! They better release that South Park game. I will be so pissed! I try not to get too excited until Gamestop starts taking pre-orders. They hate giving money back,so it is usually a solid release. Wasn't there some game called Huxley or some crap like that being talked about? They said it would have multiplayer matches for 100 players in a single match! Insane boasting if you ask me. Probably crashed and burned in the pre-development.

Hopefully it will. I still see the preorder cards everywhere, so there is hope.

I have been dissapointed that they keep pushing back The Last Guardian...when it was annoucned at E3 one year I was seriously excited for this game. I wish they just had it finished since it's been years. Speaking of years...Final Fantasy XIII Versus...has been MIA forever. they claim it's still in the works, but it's been a very long time since word has been said about it. Last thing I remember said about that was it's still in the works.

Wow, I haven't seen anyone mention Prey in a long time.  I played through the game and loved every minute of it.  And they left it wide open for an obvious sequel.  But I guess 3D Realms got too busy with Mr. Nukem.  It would be nice if they made a sequel to Prey for real.

The game is/was real. Prey 2 was supposed to come out last year and it just went silent. I am glad I am not the only one that loved the first one.
