I'm starting to wonder if Nintendo somehow knew about the NGP, and decided to price the 3DS at $249.99 just because they knew they wouldn't get away with it if they priced it between $300 and $400.

Sure the 3DS could have been priced at $99, but then games would be priced at $79 or $89. I'm sure I would not want that.

Awesome. I wasn't a fan of the tilt only controls for the Wii iterations of this series, so this is nice.

If it does indeed include the classic SMB stages, then I'm hoping that the accelerometer/gyro control will be optional.

I'm just worried about what I read on battery life. Otherwise the games look good, and hopefully some of them will also play well.
