Quick Hits: Chris Reads Comics, Enjoys Some Of Them

Yeah the cold sucked but I'm over it now, so I should head back to the gym. I might go in a bit but I will probably skip pool day because the weather folks say its going to rain today.

I've heard about that show but I'm not making the jump back to Hulu. Heck I need to use my Netflix account. Yet another reason to go to the gym. The only thing on the TV is ESPN, and I don't really watch any of their programming other than sports.

Single issues are weird. You jump into a story and then have to wait, or track down another issue for another character to continue it. I like to just read the entire thing in a couple of sittings.

I think everyone knew about Lance and looked away because the sport was already dirty, and he had a hell of a story. I don't think he's loved by the mainstream audience but who knows in a year or two, people do love a good redemption story.

Yeah I'm not touching that Ghostbusters flick. Funny thing is that I think at the local Toys R Us they still have the Lego Ecto-1 from that movie and it won't move.

Yeah there's no way I'm driving 30 minutes for food especially through traffic and construction. I write this knowing full well I've done it before and I'll do it again when the Krispy Kreme 30 minutes away will open.

You have to watch Total Recall. It's a little cheesy, but fun.

I didn't know anything about this game and after using Google I found out it is also on Steam for the same price. It sounds like a fun game and I added it to my wishlist on Steam.

I don't know with music its different for me. Yesterday I was at the local mom & pop and just browsing through the CDs and Vinyl it was fun to look at what's available. I do like how easily it is to get music online but finding a CD that isn't on your list or finding something you don't know about but wanting to give it a listen is just part of the appeal of physical copies of music, at least for me.

That's cool, its like a little bonus if you play the game in Single Player vs Co-Op.

On one hand I do love having the ability to hold a physical copy but since the PS4, once I finish a game I'm looking forward to giving it to my younger cousins. Digital is great because especially on the PC side the bundles and how cheap games are plus while in lazy mode I can buy a game on my phone, and then launch Steam to download and install.

Oooh that should be fun!

Quick question: how did you post your Flickr image? I have to go through this whole crazy process where I copy the exact image from this long line of code.

I'm easing back into the gym mode right now so no gains but I'm slowly building back my stamina in the pool. It'll be awhile before I get back to my usual pace. The pool is a nice spot but I have to go early before the teens show up.

Its nice to see a player stick with one team. It's become a rarity. I don't follow the Mavericks but the key is to build for the future. The Bulls on the other hand seem to have people who have no idea running the ship, and that ship is headed straight for icebergs.

I loved 2. That was a lot of fun to play on the PS2. The one spot that always got me was the part on the ship where you had to crawl while everyone was watching a presentation. My timing always sucked.

So far Mighty No.9 isn't bad and I really can't complain because it was a $5 game. If anything I can just call it a rental.

Upside Down is both. I usually like to blame my laptop's keyboard, but most likely its my timing.
