Pandas, I like to think the other animals in the world think of them as that crazy uncle. Good to read that you're hanging in and playing some games that take your mind off of things.
At some point I really should get back and tackle the original Uncharted, and again it's really an awesome thing you're doing playing games on Twitch while raising money for charity.
Pokemon X&Y. Before that I didn't care for any of the games but one day I decided to give X & Y a try and I liked it. It was fun figuring out the combinations for my team and roaming around the universe.
Congrats on finishing MG2! I remember of a bit of VR Missions, and I thought it was interesting but I only played it in spurts.
They were around, but I don't think they were as big as other 80s bands.
You know I've never seen Reality Bites. It was one of those movies that came out when I was in high school but never got into. What got me to buy the soundtrack was Big Mountain's cover of Baby I Love Your Way, along with Lisa Loeb's Stay. Stay especially (thanks MTV) because it was part of the morning music video rotation.
Yeah Blister in the Sun, and Turning Japanese were about masturbation. I didn't know that about Sugar. I should listen more closely to the lyrics because that song lives on my phone.
There are a lot of songs about sex, and what is funny is pop and rock songs get a pass while rap songs gets under folks skin. It's probably the delivery and use of colorful language.
Hell yeah you finished the game, congrats! That game sounds a bit overwhelming for me. I would probably get frustrated and stop playing after one of the early battles.
Yeah I think Dexter got his degree from USC, and USC always plays The Offspring's The Kids Aren't Alright along with a couple of other Offspring songs.
Love that Superman song. I played the hell out of that game and I think it bothered some of my residents on my floor.
As for favorite song from a video game I'm going to go with the intro for GTA San Andreas. It sounds like 90s gangsta rap. It borrows from everything that was a mainstay at the time: a collection of hooks, samples, and electronic sounds. Its an instrumental but it could have been pulled from a Dr. Dre/DJ Quik song.
Damn Buy 1 Get 3 Free is a good way to stock up on figures that you don't own. I like that you are getting rid of games that don't hold any sentimental value. I started doing a bit of that with the PS4. I have a stack in the closet of games that I have finished that my younger cousins can go through and take what they want.
