Damn that's pretty good with Virgin. I'm using AT&T Go which is $55/month and I get 8GB data which I can never use all of it, and at some point I will be able to stream media and it doesn't count against my data (something I don't do anyways). 

Simple questions is all I have, everything else is on the site. How hard is it to get people on the phone? This is the part of technology I hate. 

Certain Lego games are more enjoyable because of their story. I really enjoyed Batman and Marvel because I like those characters. Games like Lord of the Rings, and Lego Movie I wasn't into so it felt more like a chore. Also the pacing of the game feels slower. Lego Movie just slapped scenes from the film while a game like Lego Batman 3 was a new story. It's more preference than anything else. 

I was enjoying it until I ran into a never ending load screen right before mission 3. It looks like some folks were also running into this problem and it hasn't been fixed. Oh well, I bought it for a buck so it wasn't a total loss and hopefully the other games don't have this issue. 

I just encountered a new message, I went through the queue again and then I was hit with a "You are calling during non business hours, please call back", their letter says 8am ET, and I'm on the West Coast. I will pay extra if I am guaranteed to talk to an actual person and not have to deal with the automated system. 

Tape it is! I'll still get the weird looks from people  

Man I miss 1Up. I used to just browse that site reading people's thoughts and looking at pictures of pickups and collections. Eventually I started using it but I used to complain about the people on the Playstation Message Boards. Talk about fanboys, some folks there took games way too serious. 

Oh no doubt the console games are better, I got caught up in the funky story mode on the app, and wanting to upgrade everything in the game. 

Agree but at the same time I don't think Nintendo would ever let their big star have his own full on game on a system not made by Nintendo. I have a feeling this will be a packaged game for the switch and the folks like myself who bought it are the guinea pigs. 

There are so many possibilities for mobile gaming but devlopers are stuck in the freemium rut. I wish it were different but that's how they make money especially like you said on the few who spend a ton to play these games. I used to love trying new games but now on the iPad I only play one and that's Disney Emoji Blitz. It has a leaderboard made up of friends from Facebook, and I can unlock emoji's that I will never use but I get something for playing the game. SM Run could have been a lot of fun as a runner but Nintendo didn't offer enough content to justify the price. 

Haha yeah I think that's the resolution we all share. We have a bunch of games yet we still buy more. Hopefully we both can cut down on spending in 2017. 

I tried that site a couple of times but a lot of the games I tend to play are short but that is a useful tool for longer games like RPGs.

Also wait you just now saw Animal House? I'm glad you watched it. It's one of those movies I'll watch whenever it shows up on TV and the Stephen Bishop scene always gets me.

Thanks for sharing your story! It interesting to read people's stories associated with games, and I wrote mine in a response to your other post. No gaming traditions here other than when I start a new Dynasty on NCAA Football I always start out as an offensive coordinator, build up a small school, and then leave. 

The PC GTA is the same as the console except I think there are more songs on the radio. Usually I have it off or I listen to the rap station. 

PS4 needs to see how Microsoft does it, because their updates are quick. Sony on the other hand wants you to download huge updates for everything. New game? Update. Turn on the console? Update, Hell they even made an update where I had to change my password. Get your sh*t together Sony. 

If Super Mario Run was in the app sweetspot of $4-5 for a full game then it would be a great game. I'm glad they didn't go the route of microtransactions because those are a pain and I feel will eventually hold back tablet gaming.
