
It all comes down to what you are going to use it for, and does it fit your needs. Like I was telling Super Step, when people ask me I always ask them why they need a Mac. If its for work, or something specialized go for it, if its just for status check out some PCs, and save some cash.
My old PC laptop is still running (after I wiped the hard drive a couple of times) and its still solid. Currently I'm typing this response on my mini laptop (I think its an 11 inch.) I've told a couple of people who have kids going to college, get their kids a mini laptop like this for them to take to class to take their notes, and a regular laptop to keep in their dorms. The mini laptop battery lasts a full day, and it weighs next to nothing.
Yeah I don't get the whole gluing the battery to the case thing. slapping some screws won't make it any thicker, and the dang thing is already light, what's four screws going to add in weight?
