Dead or Alive 5 Getting a Visit From Virtua Fighter

Akira joins the cast of the next DoA.

The new hotness in fighting games has to be the guest character. This is nothing new, but in recent years it has become a major feature of the fighting game. We famously had Star Wars invade SoulCalibur, Freddy Krueger pull the Mortal Kombat cast into his boiler room, and this week sees Street Fighter x Tekken release with a plethora of guest characters, most of which will be PlayStation exclusive. Not to be outdone, Tecmo is jumping into the fray for Dead or Alive 5, but the first guest announced is probably the last thing anyone would guess.

New Fable XBLA Game Announced

Fable Heroes is set to be a companion to the upcoming Kinect game.

It’s been some time since we’ve heard from the Fable franchise. Army Corps of Hell Review

Who needs level design, differed gameplay, or strategy as long as you're ripping off a popular IP?

Army Corps of Hell is one of several games that have tried to replicate the successful Pikmin formula, but have failed miserably at doing so. Although the mechanics suffer from very few issues, the gameplay is excruciatingly repetitive.

Tour de 64: Cruis'n World

Around the world in 80 minutes.

Released around two years after the arcade version, Cruis'n World is more than just a port. Offering new modes and features,  it's a more complete package than its predecessor, making it a worthwhile experience. Some things don't change however, and it still contains the same lackluster presentation that the series is famous (or infamous?) for.

Shinobido 2: Revenge of Zen Review

It's certainly not the prettiest game on the Vita, but it does offer fleeting moments of fun.

From the moment I booted up Shinobido 2: Revenge of Zen, something felt oddly familiar. No, it wasn't because I had played the last game in the series - that title never released in America – it was something else.
