Borderlands 2 On Vita Has Issues....Oh And Digital Pricing Rant.

So I've been playing borderlands 2 on my vita at night at work. When I originally got the vita set I didn't sink any time into the game. I found many another game to jump into so I didn't fully start enjoying it till recently. However I'm noticing a few things. While some are just minor glitches to the loading times taking a long time, the game has a tendency to freeze which in turn requires I restart the Vita. Upon booting the game back up, I then must redo what I was currently working on. While glitches and loading times can be overlooked this freezing thing is really beginning to make me wish that I had a physical copy to sell then a digital that is forever stuck in my library. Unless Gamestop decides to really start accepting digital goods like it was being rumored long ago. Idk if it's a game issue or if maybe the vita is handling more then it should. I remember Dan saying he wished they would port the pre sequel to vita. I honestly believe they shouldnt if problems like these will exist.

Speaking of digital, if there really wanting to push digital has the way of the future they really need to rethink digital pricing. I got a 10$ promotional credit from Amazon which was again for Bloodbourne and I could only use it on digital goods. Has I looked the pricing between digital and physical is ridiclous. Many games had a low physical price àt around 20$ or 30$ but yet was asking 60$ for digital. I mean if your gonna cry that physical games cost more to make atleast make pricing of the digital goods right. Not only is it like that on Amazon but Gamestop and even PSN does it too.

yeah digital game pricing sucks... except for PC games.  With Steam and other avenues and sales, PC pricing is just right.  But consoles?  Don't get me started!  Digital games should be cheaper than their physical brethren, not more expensive!

Were the physical copies new or used? Either way, I'm on your side, if I'm not getting a package it needs to be cheaper. Maybe these networks like PSN are charging more for these companies to host their wares? No idea.

I don't think I had those problems with my copy of Borderlands 2. I did have the occasional freeze but it wasn't anything I didn't run into with other games.

I never got the digital prices either. Since there is no packaging you would think the only real cost other than development would hosting but it still shouldn't be the same price as a physical copy.

I noticed pricing differences with music lately. I got several albums new on CD at Barnes & Noble for 5.99 and my local used CD store sells them for 7.99 or less. The stuff I wanted on iTunes was all 9.99.

On the other side of it are these VG sales. I got Deus Ex: Human Revolution today for $4 digitally. It's $15 used at Gamestop right now.
