Since this is the last Octoberween Video Weekend till Octoberween we might as well make it a big one with a FOUR VIDEO POSTING of the late Monty Oum’s last creation: RWBY. It seems a lot has gone on in the background in the making Volume 3 of this series, more so since the passing of the series creator back in February of this year. I can’t say what all was changed or altered during this Volume’s production but I do hope that Roosterteeth is able to keep true to Monty Oum’s vision for the series. And as you’ll see here that they have been very busy with RWBY and the World of Remnant in general. First off let’s take a look at the latest video in the new RWBY supplementary series entitled “World of Remnant”. A concept started out during Volume 2, this sub-series explores the world of Remnant at large so the viewer can get a better understand of the world that RWBY takes place in. Enjoy!

Next why don’t we just jump right into the first video of RWBY Volume 3 entitled Chapter 1: Round One. We finally get to see what the Vytal Festival is all about after only being mentioned at the end of Volume 2. Thankfully the show doesn’t waste any time jumping into the action!

Have you ever wanted to play out those fantastic fight scenes that you’ve seen in the RWBY series, or if this is your first time seeing them, then you may be in luck if you have a PC and Steam account because RWBY: Grimm Eclipse is now on Steam Greenlight! I’m told it was demoed at RTX 2014 and a pre-alpha version was available for RT sponsor since Christmas of last year. I’m almost willing to give it a try despite being a console gamer. Look promising PC gamers out there?

And finally what would be complete than a Vs Deathmatch beat down. One of the members of Team RWBY had a face off against one of my favorite video game characters of all time in Screwattack’s DEATHBATTLE series: RWBY’s Yang Xiao Long vs Final Fantasy VII’s Tifa Lockhart! I was so excited for this match up I actually watched the LIVE video feed of this face off, something I normally don’t do with a DEATHBATTLE. It was hard for me to choose who I wanted to win given my lurve for Tifa since back in high school/college and new comer favorite Yang. I’ll have to admit that the end of this fight took me by surprise.
