My Octoberween 2016 Playlist: Part 1?

One of the things I like to do in preparation for another Octoberween season is try to find some decen tunes to get me in the mood. Normally they fall under the usual songs I listen to but on occasion I do cahnge things up depending what I found or if it sounds "just right" for my particular Octoberween mood. I normally don't talk about my musical choices given that my music tastes may not be that interesting to most people. I figure they are either too typical that at least one of these songs is on someone's playlist, or the song is so out there that no one could even consider it an Octoberween music tune. The most my music tastes see the written light of day on a blog is when I post my choice for a "Guilty (Listening) Pleasure". Aside from that I hardly ever share.

So this year I thought I'd give it a stab and be a bit more social when I'm usually the opposite myself, and share my Octoberween 2016 playlist. This is either the worst idea of a blog I've had or the worst. I'm banking toward the worst given that everone's taste in music is subjective. That can easly be attested to when some on the blogsphere will post a remix or cover of a particular tune that just didn't click me no matter the best intentions behind the music. It's gotten so back that I've had to proclaim that Castlevania tunes can only be full on classical or full on heavy metal to be any good aside from the original score material.

I'm not saying I'm right 100% of the time but I'm sure there's a 75% chance of stupidity here.
In all honestly I've been needing this playlist alot this year given I still can't get into the Octoberween mood. I still can't figure out why but hopefully these tunes will trigger within me the urge to enjoy the inner darkness that slowly comes forth as the nights grow longer this month. It is helping that it has become colder, rainier and gloomier tonight than most nights right now.

I thought about trying to break up the music list to match a particular theme of mine that is Octoberween (classical with classical, heavy metal with heavy metal, videogame music etc) but I decided not to. My idea of Octoberween encompasses all the types of music that mixes into a fine paste that can be spread over any pallette, though I can't say if it'll be something that'll satisfying or instead give one a sour stomach. I know it's not exactly videogame Octoberween related but there are some tunes on my list that I'm sure are familair to some out there.
Let me know what you think or share what your listening to. I'd love to broaden my Octoberween playlist! So turn up the volume and enjoy! Here is a select few choice tunes in my playlist (in no particular order) though on my PSP I try to arrange it so the music "flows" better. I'll try to post a video of the song when I can, time permitting of course. I have much to do this Octoberween >:) I feel the urge to play something...

Oh Skrillex did the Syndicate soundtrack? Cool! I picked up that game earlier this year.

I liked a lot of things about Yaiba except this one boss fight. Music's definitely fun too.

I wouldn't say Skrillex did the soundtrack to Sydnicate. Mostly he just did that one song posted. I believe it was only used for promo purposes and it's considered "unreleased". For the life of me I wondered what the song was from when I saw the game advert for it. I'll have to see on getting it one day.

Funny you mention Yaiba......

I'm kinda into Skrillex right now after that Bug Hunt track on the Wreck it Ralph soundtrack.
