Hello everyone. I hope your all enjoyed your week and are looking forward to more Octoberween goodness in your life. I myself have been a bit busy with the usual life duties, including playing some of my choice Octoberween Game Titles for 2017. But before I get into that next week let's enjoy another video weekend. Tonight I've decided to showcase something different. I happen to be contacted by T.L Green on Instragram when he commented to one of my pictures where I was enjoying some classic Twilight Zone episoes. He suggested I try out a webseries that he wrote/directed entitled The Back Pages. He described it as a "Twilight Zone inspired scifi/fantasy anthology web series. They had just begun rolling out episodes this October/November of this year so I decided to check them out seeing I'm up for anything new for my Octoberween veiwing pleasure.

I have to admit the episodes are not half bad. Despite their length, they do a good job in telling a narrative with decent settings, nice speical effects and each episode having an overall plot that is quick and to the point. I personally think they nailed it with each epsidoe's music score which help to set each episode's mood. Despite the episodes not being too scary or outlandish overall, they give you a lighter take on what you can expect in the genre. If your looking for "Twilight Zone" theme alteratives to the originals (be it the oldies or more modern versions) these vidoes maybe worth a viewing for you. As of this writing they've already released three episodes but I'll be posting just the first and second episode as I usually do during my Video Weekend blogs. If you want to check out future episodes you can subscribe to their YouTube chanel or check out their website. Ether way I hope you give them a try this Octoberween Video Weekend. Enjoy!

How do you insert those gifs? I can't seem to get it to work.

treat them like a picture embed but make sure to use the actual page image location than just the embed from the page. if using goole images, click the view image button to get a direct link page. That's the best one to use until the site might shut it down due to hot linking. Hope it helps.

COOL! Ever see the TV show One Step Beyond? I'm watching it now. 1959-1961.

Dude! I just happened to stumbple upon that over this summer. A poor man's version of the Outer Limits I thought. Still a good show even if a bit flawned. Perosnally like the wWII episode where a medical coreman had to perform surgey over the radio as the doctor directed him only to find out that the doctor on the other line died at that moment during direction by a kamakazi attack!

The clown one was kinda messed up with the husband acting so nerotic and the wife bieng so weird from the start.

The stories are apparently based on real life events.
