Welp.....Ive Been Gone....A Bit....

Okay so I blogged nearly a whole month and then preceeded to take a whole month away. Everytime Id get on here whether it was to write a comment or post a blog Id instantly delete it. I kept trying and trying but my brain has been particularly cruel to me of late. I feel like anything I write is stupid or not worth reading. Ive beaten 6 games this year and I have not a single review to show for it. I dont know what Im gonna do in that area yet but Ill figure it out in the coming time. Ive mostly been playing my Switch and 3DS. My PS4 gets played but on a low key basis since I cant play it as much during my work week. My 2 big game focuses right now are Atelier Lydie and Suelle: The Alchemists and the Myserious Paintings on Switch and Pokemon Yellow on 3DS. I swear as a child I had the patience of a saint because playing threw Pokemon Yellow has made me just crazy. Not even the nostalgia trip helps. For its time it was a great game....but now......oooooh no. Nope. No Way.

I hope yall have been great, Im gonna try to back track and comment on yalls blogs. Forgive me if Im slow and it takes forever.

It runs really good. I havent had any problems playing in handheld mode. I know there last title Night of Azura 2 had an issue where it would close unexpectedly. I had to save regularly to not lose progress. Havent had that so far with Atelier. Im kinda hoping they continue the series and keep putting them on Switch. This is my first Atelier game so I dont have much to compare it to overall.

The series is a lot of fun. I know the art style and the girliness of the story lines is off-putting to members of the he-man woman haters club but it doesn't bother me a bit.

The early games on PS2 were great.

This one definitly has a big comedy side to it? Its actually made me laugh several times. Idk if the others are like that. I can get 2 of the other Atelier games on PS4 which I might just do having enjoyed this one. Apparently a new series is gonna be started next since this is the final Mysterious one.

nice to hear from you! Yeah, nostalgia isn't enough for some of those old games. Sometimes it's better to just remember them.

It really isnt enough. Id definitly say its not enough for Pokemon Yellow. However Ive come so far Im not giving up dammit! I gave myself the challenge and I shall finish it!

No pressure here. Just write whatever comes to mind. I haven't read a formal review in a long while. I'd rather hear someone's experience of a game rather than a formal breakdown of every element. I do enough analysis in my school work and daily reading as it is.

Some of these old games I think we were so impressed by we kind of let them take their time. Now, we're spoiled.

I agree, the Pokemon series has seen big changes over the course of time and just going back to play the older games shows big time of that. I still do have a special spot in my heart for Yellow though.
