Hello again everyone. It’s time for the start of yet another Octoberween Video weekend. This time I thought I’d post this during the night time if only to put things in a better mood overall. I had a busy day myself watching more horror content and enjoy my other Top 5 Video Game Title picks of this year. I really need to get back to it though, especially since it’s a 3 day weekend for me, so I’ll have to keep this post rather short and sweet.

Tonight I decided to highlight yet another YouTube Channel that embraces the Octoberween spirit. Strange But True Stories! Is yet another YouTube channel that is dedicated to telling “strange but true stories”; Tales as they put it from “The Light Side, the Dark Side and the Other side”. Their content consists of various topics when it comes to what you’d expect out of these kinds of channels. Their stories though mostly focus on human encounters with extraterrestrials or other worldly creatures like Bigfoot and the like. Though most of their playlists have a generalized theme you can find almost any kind of story imaginable with most of not as widely covered from more prominent YouTube channels due to them being mostly viewer submitted stories to the channel. The host Steve White has an interesting voice as he tells the tales. Some have described it as “old radio announcer” type of narration. His voice fits the mood perfect with the stories he tells, along with the mood setting music and general production of the videos that include photo stills of the topic being discussed.

Once again I had a hard time trying to pick out two of my favorite videos from this young YouTube channel but I hope to revisit as the months pass for more stories that perk my interests. I decided to go like I did with Bedtime Stories and pick out something dedicated to Halloween and another video about a certain president’s meeting with aliens. Perhaps I’ll choose two more tomorrow. We shall see but until then I hope you enjoy my two picks for tonight. Enjoy!
